I went to my Dermatologist, Dr. Balshi, for a skin check, and he asked me to purchase a few of his new products available here, including Soft, Smooth, Total Serum, and Nourish.He knows I'm stubborn and am set in my routine and ways (I am 65), nevertheless, I said yes put aside my arsenal of products, and committed myself to using just the Balshi MD products.Well, I was blown away. I saw an immediate difference after the first few days. Unfortunately, my skin check had bad results and I needed more work. On a good note, Dr. Balshi noticed the difference too immediately! I have been having my friends over to try these. Chemo skin is not pretty. It hurts, it’s raw, it’s bumpy, unsightly and miserable. I tried SO many things; nothing would calm it (tried La Roche Posay, Avene, Maeve) Until I used Balshi Dermaceuticals ‘Nourish’.The 2 pics are only ONE day apart! This reflects 3-4 applications though, around the clock, as the skin dries out and hurts so I had to keep it moisturizer.The ingredients are gentle enough to not exacerbate current irritation, it is also calming AND NOURISHING. Once the rash diminished, I didn’t need to constantly apply it. So, I now use in AM and PM after gentle cleansing and use nothing else. I’m historically a product whore, lol. Using lots of products, just like vitamins for the skin. But I feel good about having this system cover my needs especially during chemo.Cross fingers I haven’t had another episode in as severe as my 1st pic. But if I do, I’m ordering another bottle bcs I can not afford to run out of this!!!!

This is a nice light moisturizer, but it must be applied multiple times a day according to the directions. It is a bit costly for an ounce of product.
