Good product simple install

I installed another brand of kit on the rear doors and found that both kits seem to be identical except for the gas strut and instructions The rear doors do NOT require any plastic modification but the front doors do, as you can see in the pictures. You will want to install the door bracket with the strut post towards the front of the vehicle. They will work with the factory Can Am door bags, just remove the bags and re-install after you install the kit.The strut pressure is just right and does not throw the door open fast.

I bought these for my 2021 Maverick X3 Maxx. The rears were super easy to install and work great. The fronts however need A LOT more trimming than was mentioned in the instructions. There’s no way to get these to fit the front on the 2021 without trimming above, below, and to the side of the main bracket. I’d still buy them again because I have the tools but it may require purchasing a rotary tool and cut off wheels to make it look right. Also, you’re going to need a thin walled 13mm socket for the new brackets so plan that ahead of time.

Once I was able to understand what the instructions ment when it says "some models may need to trim plastic, 2019 and later" something of these words lol I then was able to correctly install them but the instructions m are clear and I'm just stupid. Love how they work love what kemimoto does to please their customers. Great job now I'll brows to see what I will buy next from Kemimoto
