Jungle Shack Non-Slip Slim Velvet Hangers, Black (Pack of 25)

I got some new tips for spring and they were just wrinkled in my dresser. I didn't want to hang them up either because I was afraid that, like a lot of the more delicate tops hanging up in the closet, they would stretch out and get those awful shoulder bumps from the plastic hangers. I tried some satin padded hangers on these tops too, but still got shoulder bumps! I happened across these velvet hangers while looking for something new. The reviews seemed pretty good, and the design seemed logical. The price was right (the most affordable for this hanger type) so, I decided to give them a shot. I am so pleased! I hung up my new tops and the tops that had gotten shoulder bumps on these new hangers and waited a couple weeks. NO BUMPS! What a relief! I think the design of the hangers is they key: the curve goes right along the shoulder seams and isn't a harsh angle or too short like the typical plastic hangers. Plus, clothes don't slip off with the velvet texture. They were just what my wardrobe needed. After my little test, I recently just ordered more for the rest of my closet. I will never use another type of hanger again. Truly the best hanger for delicate women's tops/blouses/sweaters. I highly recommend. Little extra though: I find that straight out of the package, there is a little extra fuzzies from the velvet. I didn't want to see if it would transfer to clothes so I gave each hanger a quick wipe with a damp cloth before hanging up tops. No problems. No fuzzies. No tops falling off. No shoulder bumps.

I bought these Velvet Hangers over a year ago and have found nothing else like them. These hangers are so amazing, I had to come back and buy more - not because the others wore out, but because they are fantastic! Our clothes never get those awful "hanger marks", whether it's 1 of my heavy sweaters or my husband's silky Hawaiian shirts. We recently bought new clothes for Spring/Summer wear and we need more hangers. These have gone up a dozen or so dollars in the past year, but they are worth every penny. We love & highly recommend them.Just ordered another set of 25 of these Jungle Shack hangers because they are that wonderful - but instead, I received a "free gift of 50 hangers" that are nothing like these! Hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I need what I ordered. The set of 50 were a lot less expensive, but they are not the same design. I want what I ordered and paid good money for, please.

After buying new clothes, I bought new hangers. Not these at first. I wanted my closet to look nice and neat. I'd forgotten that certain hangers cause those hideous shoulder bumps. Mad and frustrated, I decided to do a search for 'shoulder bumpless hangers.' No kidding, that's what I wrote on Google. I found everything from wooden to plastic, but nothing I was willing to look at closely.Then I came to Amazon and found these. For as much as these hangers cost, I must say they are worth it. Twenty-five hangers in one package. Metal hooks. Velvet. Space saving thin. My closet is now organized, and guess what? Doesn't cause shoulder bumps on my shirts. Now, when I put on my nice blouses, I can strut my stuff with confidence.Very happy with my purchase.Wonder if these hangers have pants clips to go with???

I just moved into my new apartment and was in desperate need for hangers for my clothes. Sooo... I went on over to my favorite site: Amazon.com and began my search:) I usually like to thoroughly browse several pages of the product that interests me. One thing that I noticed was that most of the velvet hangers were all the same. Maybe different colors, but all of the hangers had the same design. These hangers, however, caught my eye! The curve for the shoulders was very intriguing to me. I became very interested because they said that it would help to diminish, "Shoulder Bumps" when your clothes were hung up on them. It seems like most of my shirts have been stretched out from my old hangers. I bought these and to my surprise and delight they actually took alot of pressure off the shoulders of my clothes! I WILL DEFINITELY ORDER AGAIN:)

Really nice. We don't machine-dry most of our clothes so we hang them up to dry. Some of the items are quite heavy when wet. Most items get bumps on the shoulders from basic hangers. These hangers have pretty much eliminated that issue. The heaviest item still has a little bit, but it's crazy-better than it was - I don't think anyone would notice if they didn't know to look. Nothing else has the bumps anymore, though!Also, I was worried about the clothes coming off the hangers easily since they are a little tricky to get on (the velvet creates resistance) - but they pull of smoothly.As far as hanging wet clothes on the velvet - they seem to be ok and not musty/moldy after letting things dry directly on them.

While they may be great for ladies frilly things or garments that are open at the front, they are not so good for pull-over garments. I wear a lot of t-shirts, most of which have printed designs, & prefer to hang rather than fold to avoid creases and make it easier to select one out of my closet. Regular hangars cause unacceptable shoulder bumps so I gave these a try. With smooth hangars, it's easy to just slide it in from the bottom or fish it down through the neck hole but the flocking on these sticks to the cloth almost like Velcro making it take more time to put the shirt on the hangar than it takes to fold it. I don't wear sweaters, bit I imagine it would be much worse with any pull-over knit garment.BTW, as other reviewers have experienced, I also had a couple of broken hangars in my shipment.
