Pen Marker Containing 3M 4298UV Tape Primer Adhesion Promoter (.47fl oz/14ml)

It's literally like magic how well this works. I couldn't get industrial double sided tape to stick to plastic in our car and after using this stuff I don't think it's ever coming off. Legitimately insanely effective product

Big adhesion difference using the primer pen. Pieces of the carbon fiber dash were falling off until i used the primer, then badaboom! All good.

I added a spoiler on a white car with 3M automotive tape, and the fact that this specific adhesion promoter is detectable by UV light (I used a UV flashlight) made the whole project much easier and cleaner. Basically, using the UV flashlight I was able to "paint" and add promoter exactly where I needed it, without worrying about damaging or showing on the white paint. Another big plus, is its form: Reusable pen / marker, i.e. if there is product left, you just put the cap on and use it for the next project. Last and not least, the reversible tip allows for two different flow tips. Fantastic product overall, and a no brainer if one needs to apply adhesion promoter with accuracy!

This is a great and convenient way to use, store , and apply adhesive promoter for smaller projects !!

This stuff works amazing! Better than the liquid in a bottle from 3M Adheasion 111. We used it for car wraps and it is fantastic. Highly recommend the vinyl wrapped around the back of the part very well

Helps to secure edges down while applying PPF. No matter how much you prep edges, they always come up. This help a lot!!

I used it for my car accessories, like panels and trim covers, and it worked flawlessly. The pen-shaped made it a lot easier to apply it at multiple places rather than using those promoter pads. One can use it for anything that needs to be permanently installed through double tape. If you apply it before pasting the product, it will increase the strength of adhesion (as the name suggests), therefore, the adhesion promoter.

Whenever you want your 3M automotive double sided foam tape to REALLY stick onto the surface you want it to, this item is the way to go! A plus, as this promoter is highly volatile, you don't waste as much as if it came in a bottle with a brush cap.

I like these better than the expensive swabs, that are really good, but if you have the swabs for a while, they may have dried out already. Better for the price in my opinion as well. Highly recommend this product.
