Beautiful heavenly cloud feel
This ceramic back flow incense holder looks beautifully made and fired. You get a bag of bullet head incense cones, tweezers and a bag of incense mini sticks. The ceramic ware is glossy and so lovely! The bullet head cones are easy to light via a lighter or electric lighter which seems to suit me very and no issues. The cones only last about 30 mins or less dependent on how draughty. The smoke does go backwards and down but turbulence does slow it down. The cones and incense all smell nice and I got some compliments too! There are plenty of cones supplied, and you can always buy more cheaply online.I've since relocated it to a non draughty spot and its certainly burns better and you get the better scenery.I am very amazed and think this is a great and wonderfully priced product.

Pretty but with reservations
This is the 2nd one of these type of burners I have had recently. Both came with a similar bag of aroma cones and sticks, and both had the same aroma issues.I followed the instructions, lit the cone, but I was left a little disappointed.1: The smoke went up as much as went down the "waterfall" (I had the holes lined up, but the smoke was not "heavy" enough and just disseminated before rolling down the steps.)2: Any aroma was covered by the smell of burning.I can only presume you need an environment of perfectly still air for the waterfall effect to really take hold, but I could simply not get anything close to how the pictures made it appear. And I was very disappointed with the aroma from the cones.I tried several of the cones, and each ended the same way with a burnt wood smell and barely an underlying hint of the expected aroma.Decent value for the price, but I would have liked maybe half as many cones but much better quality than supplied (aroma and longevity).

Love it and it’s selling at a great price
This arrives packaged well. I thought it looked lovely when I took it out of the box.It comes with cones, incense sticks, tweezers and a pad.The holder is beautiful and looks well made. It’s quite bigger than I expected but that’s definitely a positive in this case. It’s actually quite relaxing watching the smoke flow down through like a waterfall.I had this in my conservatory until my son saw it. This burner is now in my sons room. Yes I’ve lost it but it seems to help him relax so that’s a big thumbs up from me. I actually like that he has it in his room as the smell reaches all of upstairs. If you like incense then I highly recommend you buy this. I’ll certainly be buying more as gifts.

Visually effective item !!
This does work, but you have to place the incense cone in the top at the correct angle and in the right spot.Make sure its not in a drafty area, or a fan isn't on nearby or it won't work.People walking past can also stop the flow of air. It's quite tall, mine is approximately 8 inches tall, so do make sure you're happy with that.It comes with a coaster to sit on, and sits flush without rocking. If I could make one small criticism its that on the first corner of the flow down steps the smoke often doesn't make it around the corner and flies off. This is literally the design as it doesn't flow directly down, it flows to the left then right before it cascades down..However, this wouldn't affect me buying the item as it still looks awesome when it works.

Pretty holder - but shallow indent at the top - and quality issues with cones
2.5 starsThis incense holder looks and feels sturdy and solid. The glazed finish is green with hints of brownish towards the bottom - and looks very pretty. It was my first time using a backflow incense holder, and the instructions included are not the clearest - they also don't explain how to use the sticks provided - only the cones. I ended up looking it up online and figured it out though, and everything seemed quite straightforward. The top of the holder doesn't really have much of an indented section/groove. (The one I have is different from the one currently in the product pictures, which has a deeper indented section at the top.) Given how shallow the indent is, I'll only use this if I'll be in the same room when using it, for safety. I also feel a stable surface is needed - away from children and pets - to use this safely. The cones I received don't have a smooth base, so they felt unstable when I tried placing them on the top surface. I didn't feel confident enough to actually light a cone with how unstable it felt, so I'll need to buy separate cones to use the holder. The sticks also seem a bit on the fragile/thin side. The finish of the surface is a bit uneven in places, but this is relatively minor, since it's only noticeable when you touch it or look closely. Given these issues, I feel it's on the expensive side at the current price of £16.99.I feel the incense holder itself is very pretty overall, but I feel it would be best used with some flatter, stable cones, on a surface where it's not likely to be disturbed.
