Amazing student bag
My favourite part about this bag is the two loops on the front. they are perfect for carabiners or tags alike. I always use them to carry my bike helmet or other things to keep my hands free.I've had this bag for almost a year now. it has some minor ripping and the side buttons are now broken, but that's not so much the bag's fault as mine (shove things in all the time and get my carabiners/ tags caught on everything). The laptop sleeve is a great size and very well padded. I love the pen sleeves and pockets, perfect for my i clicker and other supplies. The pockets under the flap are the ones I use most to hold snacks, phone, earbuds, etc and its so easy to access without putting the bag down. The bag itself has a great sized inner pocket that hold my notebooks, tablet, and some of my smaller textbooks all together, even with my inch thick laptop. The strap is very sturdy and very comfortable. I have had no issues with it sliding, but its also maxed out at my height. The side pockets will easily fit an average sized water bottle (unfortunately my nalgene does not fit, but my steel one does!). The other pocket I normally use to hold my glasses, but could fit many other things. This bag is also very well built if you plan on biking with it. it will stay very still on your back and not cause too much shoulder strain. The only issue i have with the bag is the colour. I needed a new bag for school and at the time they only had the khaki green available. I love the new colours, and may buy a new one in the future.

Really good until it started to come apart.
I've been using this messenger bag almost daily for the past three months, that's how much I like it! The design really meets my needs quite well and I couldn't find another bag that had a similar design. It has a good number of outside pockets that I found very useful and inside pockets that are large enough to hold my computer, and books, and maybe even a packable jacket or scarf, gloves, hat etc. I really like the outside pockets including the water bottle pocket and others that I could use for things that I need throughout the day. The strap has a good padded cushion though it's a little iffy where it connects to the bag. I resolved it with small ties, see photo. The real problem is that after three months the stitching is starting to come apart and break in certain places especially around the shoulder strap. That's not good for me. I need a bag that I can rely on for day-to-day activity. If it comes apart further then it will be practically useless. So I've purchased a Timbuk2 messenger bag. A simpler design but one that I hope will stand up better to long-term use. This is the sort of thing I would've expected after maybe two years of use not three months. The only other issue with this bag is that it needed some kind of a snap closure along with the Velcro on the front. Although the zipper closure for the main pocket is very secure, the outer pockets are still somewhat exposed if you're on a busy Subway or somewhere that someone could easily reach into your bag.

Decent Bag, Poor Execution
The messenger bag overall is OK - it can fit laptops of most sizes in addition to having room for many additional items with a good number of pockets. The main issues are 1) sloppy construction: the stitching on the shoulder pad began to come undone barely 5 months after purchase (see photo), in addition to other wear & tear that should not begin to show after minimal use for a limited amount of time and 2) mediocre design: the velcro to keep the flap down flat out doesn't work - on windy days, or when the bag is close to capacity, it will fly open - this is mostly because the main compartment velcro are 2 strips aligned horizontally, while the corresponding strips on the flap are aligned vertically. I understand that this is to allow the bag to expand, but it ends up creating a poor connection/overlap between the two strips. Despite having had this bag for less than a year, I will be looking for a new one that works better and lasts longer.

Awesome briefcase/carryall/purse for me!
I'm loving the bag so far. I just got it over the weekend but it's proving useful. It has all the pockets I wanted/needed when I started shopping around. I need a durable bag for carting around medical paperwork & supplies & double as a purse since I hate carrying a one. It acts as both a briefcase & purse so I'm happy. I'll update my review as I bang this up (as I'm sure I will) and let you know how well it stands up. I am pleased with its capacity & looks. Urban Life Assets has been very nice to work with. They contacted me immediately to make sure I was pleased with their product. They genuinely care to make their bag a worthy investment. I will recommend them to family & friends. It's been a good experience.

Great bag!
I purchased this bag for my husband. He loves it and thinks it is stylish and lightweight. It has a very masculine look to it, but could also be used by females. It has many pockets and space to store a variety of things, including a laptop. It has a shoulder strap but also can be carried by the handle at the top.Update: There was a small issue we had with the velcro on the front of the bag after a few weeks of use. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive. They quickly apologized and sent out a replacement bag at no cost to us. The customer service was top notch and it nice to see a company that stand behind its product!

Almost love it!
It practically carries a heavy load, very durable, and spacious which is the most important to me. The constant irritation that I have is that the shoulder strap metal that binds it to the bag would go vertical, it seems unappealing to see it that way, and gives me concern that the angle it turns to might be producing unnecessary stretch to the to the fabric that holds it together.Otherwise, it helps me through my work day in the field and is not giving up on me.
