I really wanted to like this product.Design: The connectors are made of metal and painted / coated in black. There is option for horizontal and vertical alignments. The tripod folds to a manageable and compact size. I like the design, and the build of the product. This seemed to be a sturdy, yet light weight tripod.Mono-pod: One of the legs can be removed and converted to a Mono-pod. This is a cool option and useful for a light weight photo-walks or treks.Accessories: The tripod comes with additional leg ends in metal and a high quality bag. Highly commendable for the price.Quality: There is an issue with one of the legs which was freely rotating in the joint with the metal connector. This should have not occurred if there was a quality check before shipping.I am returning this as I am not sure if this will happen with the other joints too. If there is a better quality control on this, this will be a start product.

I really wanted to like this tripod. The build was solid. The fine adjustment for the head could have been better, but for the price I wasn't going to complain. Did some test just inside my room to familiarize myself with the tripod. I did some horizontal, vertical, and panoramic test and it worked well. The problem occurred when i was putting it away in it's case, the head came apart. It looks like the moving of the head loosened the mounting screws to the base. I wouldn't have been a problem, but for some reason they sealed the bases bottom so you couldn't screw them back in. I probably could have torn it apart, but didn't feel I should have to for 10 minutes worth of use.

This tripod is the same as other brands more expensive ones. The quality is A-1. I will be putting a 'hog saddle' type saddle on it as it will be a shooting platform!

This is a quality product for this range of tripods. There are other tripods that are stronger but this one does the job as good as any other carbon fiber tripod in the reverse folding category.
