Hook one end of the band to the pull bar, and then either step into the other end (that's hanging down) or place the band under your fully bent knee. Then hang from the bar and the band will help with overcoming your body weight. Just remember the band resistance is linear and reduces as the stretchedlength of the band decreases back to it's 41" length.
