Life of Christ: The Art of Carl Bloch: (Illustrated)

The pictures in this book are so beautiful. I know they are just one man's rendering of Jesus and the events of his life, but nonetheless, Bloch's Agony in the Garden brings tears to my eyes and hurts my heart every time I look at it. To think that Jesus did all this for me!

Every picture in this book is blurry. Also, the colors are off. I bought it for a friend as a gift. Thankfully, I looked through it before giving it and saw that it was not suitable. I am returning it.

I was able to attend a museum showing of Carl Bloch's art work. This is a wonderful way to have some of his pictures at my fingertips to view at any time. They are beautiful pictures.

The perfect book for anybody who loves art. An incredible artist. Love his work. a must have in any book collection.

This book contains 32 paintings by Carl Bloch following the life of Christ. It is a good variety and nice to have it in sequence. However, most of the prints are very poor quality and have a fuzzy appearance. Not crisp and clear at all. If I had known the print version would be like this I would not have bought it.

Every image in this book is dark and out of focus. Carl Bloch's original paintings are almost photographic in their color and clarity but that's all lost here. Everything looks like it was produced by a cheap copy machine. An amateurish bootleg.

Surely this e-book worths its low price. The quality of the images is well enough and the graphic appearance is accurate. There is an index too: not always there is one in books of this kind, and a brief preface. The book is right to have a good collection of this painter's masterpieces in a single place. A good book. It helps the reader to imagine Christ as He really appeared to His disciples as it is told in the Gospels.
