Underwhelming
Very underwhelming. It's very flimsy and thin, not at all the fabric I would expect for a child's blanket. Rather cheap and nasty to be honest. I was going to get my grandson the shark tail but I'll shop elsewhere. I would have returned it but it was already my granddaughter's birthday and too late to make a return and buy another one.

My granddaughter loves mermaids. She asked for this for Christmas. Since she has one at her house, we left this one at Grandma's. She loves it and crawls in for book reading and playing on her tablet. When not "in" it, she is sitting on top of it. The tail is well made, It's got a lot of room in there as the tail fin section is open for feet to go into. Warm fleece that is mid-weight.

DANGER- Not for toddlers
Two days after this arrived in the mail, our three year old mermaid fairy princess tripped and went face first into a fireplace hearth. Three stitches later and we're throwing this one away. The craftsmanship seemed ok, but a hazard for our three year old.

Very long sizing, and cheap material
Looks cute in picture, but really cheaply made. Not plush material, very thin. Also, is super long. We gave this as a gift, and I was half-tempted to return it because of quality.
