Why has the price doubled?
I purchased 2 of these filters 2 years ago. Now the price for 1 is the same for the pair I previously purchased. Might as well buy the actual OEM filters for the same price....

Tight Fit but It Works
The fit of the filter was a little tight, but it still fit nonetheless. Good filter at a good price.

Its ok, in my unit it barely fits you can see the back end kind of sticking out a bit. If you need one cheap, its a good deal, but not if you want it to fit properly.

Fit my Germguardian AC5000 series, that's all I can ask for. And to super filter free floating cat hair.

Does the job.
I looked through the reviews before buying this and I saw that most of them were paid for. But I still took a chance because the reviews seemed genuine. I'm happy to say that this filter fits perfectly into my air purifier. No complaints.

Affordable replacement
Even since I have the pet allergy, I got the Germ Guardian AC5250PT Pet Pure True HEPA Air Purifier System. The tower works great, but the branded filter replacement cost about $37. They suggest you to change it every 6 – 8 months, but that depends on your room/environment. When I saw this filter with fraction of the price, I just have to try it out. This replacement fits perfectly, and works just as great as the branded name. I have pets that shed like crazy, and thus, I have to change the filter more frequent than others. This filter is very affordable and works just as well. I will buy again. Overall, it is a great product and I would recommend this to anyone. I have received this product at a discounted rate or free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. In no way does this effect or influence my review of the product.
