GUITAR CAPO for Acoustic and Electric Guitars by MAESTRO GEAR

This capo had a cheap, plastic feel to it. Also, it did not do the job. I was disappointed and returned the item.

This capo does not have a strong enough spring and on some guitars does not do a good job. I play several guitars andtried it on different guitars. In a gig I want to be able to change the capo quickly and not have to mess with getting it justright in order for it to sound right. This one does not do the trick.

I bought this capo with low expectations, wow was I wrong.This capo is the best I've ever bought.The capo shipped quickly and nicely packed, actually, very nicely packaged. It was very easy to open and no hassle.Although I don't have an acoustic guitar, I do have a Les Paul and a Stratocaster. And the capo fits both perfectly. There is no buzz at all and the silicone pad on the capo- which goes on the neck and frets. Is very soft, and does not scratch.I own multiple capos and this is the best one I've owned. Would recommend to friends and family.

I ordered go my husband as a surprise. He already had guitar capos. One was the old elastic style and the other a quality capo but cumbersome. I pulled his guitar and showed him what this did, and he was thrilled! Easy to install and adjust. Tone clarity of the strings is clear. This has a spring loaded grip handle that opens the capo for positioning on guitar neck. The neck is protect with a soft rubber pad. He loved it and was totally impressed at the quality and ease of use.

PROS: The curve fits the fingerboard correctly. This capo has a low profile so it stays out of the way of fingers. The capo is well made and very sturdy without being heavy. The padded lining feels durable and does a nice job of protecting the guitar and preventing scratches. Most important of all - this capo does the job and does not cause buzzing or other issues with sound. It is also very easy to apply and remove.CONS: The pressure cannot be adjusted. The guitar has to be tuned a little more frequently.OVERALL: This capo is good, especially for the price. A professional musician might need to look for a higher-end capo with adjust-ability, but this will certainly do the job for most players.
