Strike #2 - the box that it came in looked like it was pulled out of the trash and straightened ...
I bought this after I asked the community if this product was made in China. I was told it was made in the UK. I got it and it clearly stated on the box it was made in China - strike #1. Strike #2 - the box that it came in looked like it was pulled out of the trash and straightened out the best they could. Strike #3 - where the handle meets the carafe at the top and bottom, it is discolored, giving it a very inferior and cheap look (even though I paid a lot more for this one than other brands). I am totally returning this.

Beautiful!
This french press is beautiful and well-made. All the parts are metal - no plastic. It feels nice and is easy to clean. We get about three mugs of coffee from the 35 oz. pot. I find three tablespoons of coffee is the right strength for me. (It was shipped within hours of the order and arrived in 12 days.)

Great cafetiere, good pouring, keeps coffee warmer than the traditional glass cafetiere. Easy to clean and good filters.

Nice product
Having had glass cafetiere's in the past I wasn't quite sure whether I would take to a metal one. However, I needn't have worried, the pot looks and feels good, no metal taint in the coffee and it keeps the coffee warm longer in the pot. All in all a nice product, would recommend.

Brilliant, durable.......
Had a bad weld on the handle and leaked water into the double wall but as usual Amazon replaced immediately.Incidentally the plastic top & plunger from the glass one fits -so don't throw away.Also suggest dismantling the mesh etc to wash in the dishwasher top rack as stale grounds oxidise & ruin the next cup ( this applies to all cafatiers not just this one).

lost a point as where the handle is fixed to the body you can see the weld / solder (not sure how it is fixed) I admit to being very fussy & you need to weigh up cost vs quality.. overall happy & it does the job very well in a stylish manner...

Great Product
Use it in our B&B have 8 of these in different guises, guests love that their tea \ coffee is kept hot throughout breakfast.We use this shape for loose leaf tea and straight sided version for coffee.Great product and standard size for replacement meshes.Look forward to using this for many years.
