I bought this item to paint as a gift to my friend who is addicted to her cat. I was so exiting to get this set... What a disappointing when i began to realize this paint because: the paint colors don't match the real photo; the quality of the paints is really terrible, they are old... Following the instruction You can't obtain the color You need, I'm doing this by intuition using the paints I bought for the other projects...Next time I will think twice before to buy paints from Royal Brush

Like others have said, included paints were bone dry and 100% unusable. Amazon needs some quality control. If you don't have extra paints, you can't complete this. Numbers on the canvas are faded and difficult to read. Painting requires massive amounts of mixing. MASSIVE.Don't throw away the papers, you can't read the numbers on the canvas but an extra copy is on the papers inside. I haven't finished it yet, it's very complex. Probably will not buy any more from this company as it's doubtful anyone cares about their product being unusable.*update*If you somehow manage to finish, it should look like mine but better (crappy camera).Needed Paints: Titanium White, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Sap Green, Cobalt Blue, Black. I mixed my own greens (Ochre+Black and Yellow+Blue variations), you'll come out better.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter so I cannot give my personal experience of painting it myself. She was very happy to receive it and it made a very pretty picture once it was completed! I bought this for my mother as a Christmas present and she loved it. She was really impressed by the fact that it was on an actual canvas. It made her feel like a professional artist. The paint was good and covered the numbers which is a problem some paint by number kits have. Once finished she got rave reviews from her friends on it. I will definitely buy this brand again.

I have been doing paint by numbers for a while and wanted to step it up a bit.The pros: I liked this design because it isn't overly complicated,but it does require some mixing and has some smaller areas. Finished product looks pretty good overall.Cons: The patter is too dark to cover with one coat. I had to white-wash everything and the yellow still didn't cover. the colors aren't an exact match to the picture (not unusual for a lower priced brands) and there wasn't enough white in the end.All in all it wasn't a bad buy, but go into these knowing that you may have to white wash them. You may also want to buy a set of acrylic brushes for the smaller and larger sizes as there is only one brush included and it gets damaged quickly - which makes it harder to do the small areas.

I won't buy from this company again. I had to mix almost every single shade of color from the limited basic colors provided, and when you inevitably miss some areas, and have to paint the same number on a different day, you just can't get the color to look the same as it did the first time you mixed it. Also, a large amount of the numbers are actually placed on the canvas NEXT to the area where they go, with an arrow pointing to the space, which means you are constantly painting over numbers for spaces you will have to paint later, and now, you don't know what number is assigned to that space. My cat didn't end up looking like the photo because of this. You are constantly referring to the chart, and the chart is even harder to read than the canvas, because it is so small.

My daughter who buys the paint by number at the local store wanted something a little more "real" and not just a painting on cardboard. When this painting arrived and it was actually on canvas she was thrilled. It is more challenging than her previous paint by number but it is coming out beautiful.. Very pleased with the purchase, it came on time and in excellent condition. I will order this product again and also use this seller.

I am slowly making progress on this paint by numbers, I really like the picture and the quality of the paints, easy to blend, I do add a little water to help the paint spread and I use my own creativity as I cannot paint perfectly between the lines. So with that said it is fun and enjoyable.

I've had some trouble with the paint from this brand before, but the paint in this paint by number was better than expected.

My daughter enjoyed working on this for her dad. We did buy additional paint because a few tubes seemed old and dry, but the picture turned out beautiful and sadly there are not...

The areas are too small to see the numbers.

If I can, I’d love an opportunity for them to resend me one with usuable paints. The paint is rock hard and I’m very disappointed. And you can barely read the canvas numbers.

The picture is much smaller than I expected, there are quit a few numbers missing from the pattern and the numbers on the actual picture are so hard to see.

Wife loved this after i painted it for her. look like the cat she once had, but died.

Paints were all dried up when I got it. Completely unusable even after i tried to rehydrate it.

Not impressed, cant see the numbers and the spots are super small. Too much mixing!! I wouldn't buy this if I were you!!

We sent this to my mother who is in her eighties & loved to paint by number in her youth. This arrived on time & she loved it.
