Heatwave SuperQuiet SQ166R Heat Pump, 126000 BTU, Heat & Cool, SQ166ARDSBPR

I purchased this through a local retailer. I have no complaints with the retailer. I do have complaints with the manufacturer. I had the unit for 3 months, used it only a dozen times and the entire fan blade assembly flew off. Since I paid $5,500 for the unit and the manufacturer is only an hour away from me I expected an entirely new unit, a new heater. They simply repaired the fan blades. I used it again three or four times and the blades are loose, they will fall off again as this should not be a part that is simply attached with a nut. it should be solidly soldered in manufacturing. I am not happy with the service or lack of willingness to replace the unit by aquacal. when the fan blades flew off they did so with great force, this could break through the plastic cabinet and cause serious injury.I may need to file a complaint with the State attorney general's office if they don't replace the entire heater. I don't throw away $5,500. An additional note, they always tell me that they do not stock the parts needed, however this is their manufacturing site. They are located in St Petersburg Florida I live 1 hour away. how do they not have the parts in stock at their manufacturing location in St Petersburg?

My pool was installed and started up in November 2014, with the Aquacal SQ166R. We paid $5400 for this heat pump and were assured that it was the best for our needs. Up until this summer we have been snowbirds, here in Arizona only in the winter, and the pump was used lightly for heating only. This summer we set it to cooling and no luck -- yet another error code. Once this repair is completed we will have spent $3000 on service in three years.I don't know what the answer is, but it definitely is not this piece of equipment.
