The Best there is!
I've no idea what the people who've written negative reviews are doing, I've used these bottles for years in some of the harshest conditions, from the Death Valley Double Century and the Borrego Double Ordeal to European 600Ks, they keep your water a lot cooler than a non insulated bottle and are hard wearing. The price on Amazon is pretty high, but that's another story.

Quality
This bottle is worthless to buy. My bottle don't look like it was in describe and postage fee is also as expensive as bottle cost.

Poor quality- patterned foil paper placed in between two layers ...
Poor quality- patterned foil paper placed in between two layers of plastic. This provided very poor insulation. Didn't keep my drink cool at all. No different to an ordinary plastic sports bottle.

I bought 2 of these Polar Insulated water bottles for my husband to use while he's mountain biking. His old bottles have always had this awful chemical smell. It was so bad that our dog wouldn't even drink from them. I wanted to buy him bottles made from a healthier and safer material and after searching for awhile online and at Natural Foods stores, I found these bottles. I wanted something that would not break (I personally prefer glass bottles and carry one everywhere but I would be afraid that they would break if he took a digger. Plus, they're not flexible enough to fit in the bottle holder of our mountain bikes anyway), that would fit the standard bottle holders, that would keep his water relatively cold in hot weather for longer than half an hour and that didn't leach chemicals into his water. These bottles are awesome! The night before he bikes, he fills his bottles 1/3 of the way with water and puts them in the freezer, the following day he takes them out right before he's ready to go biking, fills them the rest of the way with fresh water and goes on his way. The water stays cold for several hours. Plus, the water tastes exactly as it should; there's no chemical taste and even the dog approves. I plan on buying a couple more for my mountain bike. Great product!

I have always drunk water with meals and sat with a glass of water next to me nearly all the time. I thought I must be decently-hydrated, but buying this bottle has (for whatever it's worth) really improved my hydration game. I mostly bought it for the gym, to replace disposable bottles, but then I got into the habit of carrying it while I walk. Without even aiming to, I started drinking nearly a full 24 ounces during my ~30 minute walk to work. I'd never realized I was thirsty while walking! It's since replaced my usual cup of water at work, and in addition to being more environmentally friendly than disposable plastic, it's also increased my water intake there significantly. I'm not sure what it is--the appealing color, the squeeze action, the fact that I'm not subconsciously worrying about spilling it on my laptop or my shirt? But suddenly, without any effort, I am HYDRATED. (Like, my pee is barely yellow anymore. Wild.) Anyhow, it's a very nice bottle--the insulation isn't Swell-level, but it helps; the lid is nice and secure; the plastic carrying strap is convenient. It fits nicely in my hand and is pleasing to use, and that's the most important thing.

These are the best water bottles. I can't say enough great things about them. They DO NOT SWEAT. That's the important part. My daughter had 4 of these last year in the 1st grade. I wash them in the dishwasher and they have held up so well that she'll be using them again this year. I did have to buy Inchbug rubber labels for them because permanent marker doesn't stick but the Inchbug labels fit well. If you're looking for something heavily insulated these are not for you but if you just need something your kid won't tear up and you don't have to hand wash they're worth every nickel.

This is one of those products where once you get it, you wonder how you ever got along without it. I am currently stationed in Singapore and while it's a fantastic place to live and work, it's also very hot and humid all year round. Needless to say, if you're cycling any distance at all around here, keeping hydrated is critical. Now having discovered the benefits of an insulated bottle, I'm left scratching my head wondering why the heck I was putting up with drinking warm water towards the end of my rides for the past few years. As some other reviewers have noted, these work so well you actually have to be careful about how much ice put in them. A little goes a long way (quite literally). Using just a few ice cubes, the water stays cold and there's still some ice left even after an hour or so on the road. I now have both the 20oz and the 24oz models. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers who noted that that the 24oz may be a tight fit for some frames. The 24oz works fine on my bike but for most rides the 20oz is quite sufficient and is a little bit easier to handle. Frankly, at the prices these are selling for on Amazon, it's a bit silly to be using anything else. Put simply, if you live in a hot climate, or at least have hot summers, you gotta have this!
