Practical sturdy workspace
The size of this steel table was perfect for my needs, I got two. Previous experience assembling furniture that comes in a box can vary according to the outcome of the experiences. It can be very frustrating when directions are missing or non-existent. The latter in this case but being armed with the right tools can make all the difference in ease of assembly. A second pair of helping hands can be invaluable, but working solo can be made easier. Laying the top flat on a bench allows free access to screw holes. A rubber hammer is a must for assembling most furniture. The legs of this table needed to be attached first, it took two good whacks with the dum-dum hammer, but they went in smoothly lined up with the screw holes and placement was easy. The second item that helps with remaining shelves is something to peg into the holes where the screws will be placed. Hold the shelf in place and slide the pegs through the shelf hole lined up with the chosen leg hole. This is a very short-term aid so use whatever is most accessible at hand. I used 8-penny nails with the first table, I used old small Allen wrenches for the second, but toothpicks, matchsticks, kabob sticks, or whatever you might have nearby will handy temporary pegs. The nail heads that I used kept the shelf very loosely but in place until I got the first screw started then did the opposite corner. The small Allen wrenches did better. And as advised in other reviews, don't ever completely tighten screws but do get them at least 75% set so that the shelves line up well until assembly is complete and final tightening of all screws can be done. I did have more trouble with the middle shelf (put in first) on the second table, I had to loosen the screws on the top shelf to get the first screw/washer into the first hole. Be sure to do a final tightening, you might have a wobbly table if only one screw is loose.

This is a must have
Although the table is great n makes cleanup easier n more hygienic it did arrive with dented corner which in time will become a bigger problem. I just didn't want the hassle of returning it but in truth the corner is slowly becoming a bigger safety concern...it catches on everything n i hurt myself numerous times with the ruined sharp corner.

Love it!
This table is well made, sturdy and was so easy to put together that it didn't come with instructions. It has a protective white covering over the tops of the shelves and top. I just left them on because it looks really nice. I avoided a traditional kitchen island because they are heavy and so difficult to put together. So often now the items that we buy are missing parts and defective also, this one even came with an extra bolt and washer.

May arrive with minor damages
The overall construction is fine and adequate for what I need. The metal is light, to expect some damage upon arrival (I can't tell if my mail service sucks or if I got a factory defect). So on the one hand, it suffers a point of durability. On the other hand, it is very lightweight for being stainless steel. Very easy to move. Putting it together is a snap, and it came with the tool necessary for the job.

Smells Bad, YES! Some Dings, Dents, Crack
SMELL: When I open the packaging the smell was ATROCIOUS. Heaven knows what kind of chemicals they use to create and package this table. I unpacked the pieces, legs and the shelves and quickly place the empty-ish box in the garage so it doesn't stink up the house/kitchen.DAMAGE: This appears to be a returned item that they probably repackaged and sent to me; hence the dents and dings in some damaged areas. The table tops had a few dings here and there. The ring around the foot of the leg was cracked and damaged. I snagged my finger on the sharp edge of the cracked metal; luckily it didn't bleed.....but does not impact the table to stand properly.Looking past the funky-funk and the damage, it is a functional table, decent value. And THAT VALUE would be much improved if I had a table without dents, dings and cracks

Useful little table.
This table happened to fit perfectly in a corner of the kitchen I needed it in. It's very narrow so we primarily used it for storage. It's short too. A bit flimsy but got the job done.
