I have a heavy wooden front door that doesn’t latch easily. A strong wind would open the door. I replaced the hinges with these, and after adjusting the spring tension, these close and hold the door. I did have to use a much longer Allen wrench because the tiny one that comes with it does not allow nearly enough torque.

Use them to reach fire code, passed inspections.

Used this hinge to fix a door that would swing open after it was opened about 45 degrees. This happened because the door frame is not level. The proper solution would be to remove the door frame and reinstall it level. Too much hassle and too expensive. The door has 3 hinges so I replaced the middle hinge with this one to offset the force that pushed it open. Works fine, door does not self open any more. I gave it 4 stars because the quality is nothing special and you would probably get something comparable cheaper elsewhere.

My original spring hinge was bent from loose bolts, and the door was forced to close. The NuL3y is a good replacement, its fit and finish are excellent.

These are a better build at half the price than competitor brands. High quality and highly recommended. I had to replace one that failed from a pricier competitor and was able to compare build quality and of course reliability.

Very poor construction broke 1 week after install can not recomend this product.
