I have a heavy wooden front door that doesn’t latch easily. A strong wind would open the door. I replaced the hinges with these, and after adjusting the spring tension, these close and hold the door. I did have to use a much longer Allen wrench because the tiny one that comes with it does not allow nearly enough torque.

Solid, heavy, commercial quality for pros
We are hanging exterior steel custom commercial gates. These things are heavy duty quality with screws. Nice stainless heavy stainless steel finish. They feel like a 2 pound steel dumb dumbbell. You get what what you pay for; buy these👍🏻

Highly Recommended and great value!
These are a better build at half the price than competitor brands. High quality and highly recommended. I had to replace one that failed from a pricier competitor and was able to compare build quality and of course reliability.

Works fine, door does not self open any more
Used this hinge to fix a door that would swing open after it was opened about 45 degrees. This happened because the door frame is not level. The proper solution would be to remove the door frame and reinstall it level. Too much hassle and too expensive. The door has 3 hinges so I replaced the middle hinge with this one to offset the force that pushed it open. Works fine, door does not self open any more. I gave it 4 stars because the quality is nothing special and you would probably get something comparable cheaper elsewhere.

Just what I need....
Boss wanted the supply door to be kept closed. So I installed this and it works great! It was great because it came with both wood and metal screw, which is want was used on the other hinge. So I just removed one of the old hinges and installed this one, then tightened the spring. Wala it was fixed!!

Absolute Garbage. Extremely LOUD
The media could not be loaded. These hinges were fine for a couple weeks then they started to squeak. This got worse and worse and now I can hear my front door open from my back yard. I think they lubricated these hinges with the souls of all the children whose XBox gave the dreaded red ring of death. I certainly didn’t save any money with these. I will be replacing them with some quality hinges ASAP.
