Honestly, thought for the price it’d be terrible. It’s comfortable, large, and doesn’t let a drop of water in. As a guy who goes around the city with journals, electronics, and other stuff destroyed by rain, this is my daily pack everywhere I go.

This unit is Waterproof however for me personally the love affair is not happening. There are things to like about the unit and as such your mileage may very. For me and not just with this particular unit the Mfgr. make them (A) too fiddly and the strapping etc is semi tacky not just with this unit, (B) the all seem bent on sq. tops and round bottoms. If I wanted a round bottom I'd get one, and yes,this one is sq. Unless you have low expectations and low to virtually little usage for one then these in the price rang will likely work for you. However I find units in the $150 to $300 dollar category better engineered to a point some are still too fiddly too round, I'm not after a duffel, but at these price points you do get better layouts actual unitized shoulder straps as opposed to sew on's. If this was what I was after and I could live with the Nondetachable Straps I would recommend it. It does function as described. I gave it to a friend.
