The media could not be loaded.  HARDWARE:First off, I was very impressed with the packaging on this camera. It looks very upscale and sleek, similar to the box an iPhone comes in. It isn't your typical cheaply made Chinese knockoff, either. This thing is sturdy and mainstream, and is assembled beautifully.The cord is nice and long! I could plug it into an outlet that was several feet to the left and down from where I wanted to install the camera. I will say the cord can be a bit unsightly, but I can always figure out a way to hide the cord.SOFTWARE:The quality of the video itself is much higher than my initial expectations. I can see everything in rich detail, even in lower lighting. However, this camera is NOT equipped with night vision, so if you are wanting video at night, you are going to need a decent nightlight or two in order to see anything.The sound quality is decent from the device's speakers, thought not outstanding. I installed this camera in my son's room because we have been having issues with him stealing food and getting up in the middle of the night to play by the light of his night lights, so this has been a great tool to help deter both these behaviors. When I press the button on the app to speak to him, he can clearly hear me. However, the issue comes when he tries to respond. There is a bit of a delay between releasing the microphone button and the sound turning back on within the app, and I always miss his immediate response. I think a redesign of the app buttons could solve this issue, as it seems to be more software related than hardware related.The sound quality within the app is a problem. I'm not sure if it's the quality of the microphone or just an issue with the app, but at times it makes strange sounds that do not come from the environment, almost a distorted robotic sound. My son will speak and I have a very difficult time understanding what he says due to this malfunction.I have also noticed there is about a 1-2 second sound delay. The sound lags behind the video, and it can sound like an echo if you are listening in real time and listening on the app. The video, however, doesn't appear to lag much more than a couple milliseconds.To sum things up:PROS:High quality materials and buildHigh quality video playbackLong cord makes it easy to plug in anywhereInternal speakers are of good qualityCONS:Not a night cameraSound playback can get a bit dicey in terms of quality and lagUpdate to the app is needed to fix an issue with sound delay happening when the "speak" button is released, as well as High Quality bog down of the appI am also including a short video to demonstrate the quality of the video. In the video you will hear the strange sound distortion I experienced. You will also notice a flickering at the very bottom of the video. This only seems to be present for me in the medium quality setting. Terrible. Does not work AT ALL. would love a refund

It was a little difficult to find the app needed and to sync with my iphone 7.

This product is a piece of junk. I tried connecting it like 10 times and the camera would say "successfully connected" but then the app would tell me that the connection failed. I think that the above 4 star review is a joke by whoever made this useless waste of a camera so don't believe anything they tell you.
