I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon, but this product really does a great job so I thought it would serve the community and the vendor if I did so this time.We have had this on my wife’s bed for some t me, and have washed it a few times. Yesterday morning when I went in to her I found that she had been sick all over the bed, and her incontinence pants had leaked poo all over the place as well. Two great features: first, the mattress was indeed completely protected from the mess, and second, the protector washed as good as new despite being very yellow and brown in several places when it went into the washing machine.My only advice to prospective purchasers is that it might be a good idea to have two, as in similar circumstances you would want to put a clean protector on the mattress as soon as you take the dirty one off.Review posted by J A MalcolmA small note: There is one small yellow stain on the protector which has been there for a while. I don’t know what caused it or why it didn’t wash out. I wonder if it wasn’t washed promptly on that occasion? I haven’t dared to use bleach or wash it hot as the instructions say 'cold, no bleach' though I think I may have washed it at 30 degrees at least once (without any apparent harm). Comes out of the machine very wet, but dries quickly.

Excellent item . These pillow covers do the job amazingly. They don't rustle or cause sweating , they protect the pillows from all childhood accidents , spillages and sickness.I highly recommend these and will buy more for visitors.

The fit was good but the Terry part sounds rather noisy at the moment, but I'm hoping it settles down in time

There was cause to use it the first time it was put on Mum’s bed and it worked perfectly. I thought it was a bit thin but it definitely keep the mattress lean and dry.
