Great shoe for occasional light hiking over mixed terrain.
I purchased these shoes for some light day hiking and they were perfect for the task. They fit my wider forefoot well with mid weight hiking socks and were reasonably comfortable over mixed terrain. They kept my feet dry through wet and muddy trails. Outside of hiking, I also used them for yard work in the Fall and clearing snow over winter and they have held up well. The grip is good on all bar ice. Overall, you can't really fault these given the price.

Nice boots, but laces are too long
Like the boots; comfortable and fit according to size. I disliked the length of the laces. Even after double-knotting, they are ridiculously long.

Definitely a good buy for a lightweight pairs of hiking shoes
Definitely a good buy for a lightweight pair of hiking shoes with some water resistant capability and should be durable enough for my planned trip to the last frontier state up north. Purchased these on sales via Amazon for under $30 and is comparable to my much heavier Hi Tec hiking boots. The Shulook probably weighs about maybe around 12 ounces for each shoe and that's good for longer walking and hiking. These advertised as waterproof breathable shoes which are debatable as the mesh upper may be water resistant at best as to be waterproof usually indicate everything is airtight non breathable. I've had these for over a week and have used the Shulook for some walking for about an hour plus and one rainy day and it's more than comfortable enough and doesn't really need breaking in. The heel counter is right in the middle for hardness and offers good heel and ankle stability and the EVA midsole gives good cushioning with the rubber sole tread does well walking on rough terrain and wet slippery surfaces. The clay color is probably not as attractive looking as the black Shulook with red laces but does grow on you as it's an adventurous looking type of shoes. Hopefully the rubber sole is durable and don't won't wear out too fast like my Hi tec boots.

Cheap, don't expect top quality.
I got these because I needed a pair of cheap low-tops I can just slip on and take out the garbage or run to the store. They work for that. I have hi-top Columbia that are a project to put on. Well, these are miles apart from the quality of those. If I go out "for real" I'm definitely still wearing the Columbia. These do NOT replace a quality shoe. But if I have to run out and get something from the car, these are easy. I'm just gonna knot the laces loose and cut them off at the knot. They're basically intended to be heavy-duty slippers, they'll be fine for kickin around the yard. A little narrow in the toe box, I ordered up and they're still a little snug, but thats okay, they'll stretch.

Durable
I bought these for hiking and because they're water proof. So far, they've passed the test. I used them while snow shoveling and my feet stayed dry. Good tough, durable sneakers.

Comfortable and waterproof
I bought these for working in my shop and for doing yard work because they were waterproof and reasonably priced. They were immediately comfortable from the moment I put them on. My feet don’t get wet when I wash my vehicles so they are truly waterproof. I abused my first pair everyday for two years until one of the toes finally let go. I just ordered this second pair and they are just as comfortable as the first pair. Highly recommend.

Nice Waterproof Hiker/Outdoor Shoe That Doesn't Break The Bank!
I was looking at an outdoor shoe for some light tactical training and didn't want to spend $150 on Salomon or the likes. These had an overall good rating and looked the part. I especially liked the grey color with the green contrast. I will say that these fit true to size. I am an 11 and the 11 fit perfectly as far as toe room and heal. Oddly, the width is fatter than a normal shoe. I am not sure if this has to do with the waterproof design or whatnot, they just appear wide in the top of the shoe almost like the look of a ski boot. This does not affect the comfort at all. These shoes are very comfortable and offer great padding for the bottom of your foot and ample toe room. I like the laces, they are more of a rope type and seem durable and plenty long to double knot if you like. Eyelets seem durable and as long as you don't yank too forcefully, I cannot see damaging them. The tread seems rugged enough for outdoor terrain but not super hard where they become slippery on asphalt or the likes. As far as the overall weight of the shoe, they are definitely heavier than a pair of normal sneakers, but certainly not heavy. I feel like for a rugged shoe they are about right. As far as the waterproof part, haven't had a chance to test that out, but based on design, I would think as long as you aren't looking for deep puddles, these will be fine. Dollar for dollar, I am impressed with this shoe. They are good looking, comfortable, and affordable. What more could you ask for. Recommended.

Ive been dissapointed by other shoes that promised to be waterproof, but these realy are, even in heavy rain and walking through puddles. The insole feels bumpy when you first try them on but after walking awhile the memory foam smooths out. They feel a little stiffer than other sneakers but this is not uncomfortable when walking.
