To be honest I will rarely use them but sometimes I need to know something or do something simple. It makes a nice home lab set up and fairly cheap. As far as I would go is a minor in Chem. Majoring in Physics so there are times I need to see a measurement or am just curious about something I read of or learned to reinforce learning. I have a req. of at least one Chem course. Doing 6 gets me a minor but eats up a couple yrs. I haven't decided. Obviously these are not Lab Grade but fairly good and you can be very accurate and do sig. fig. with them and all that NOTE: they are not marked for tolerance.

Good for the price.
My only complaint is that the red silicone suction bulb is too small and weak. It should be bigger... but if you need a few drops it will be perfect. The blue silicone suction is good!

Great value, holds up well
Everything arrived intact and it's all held up after constant use. I most commonly use the 10ml pipette and the labeling has been exposed to a myriad of compounds and it's still on the glass good. The rubber suction balls are a pain and I got a syringe pipette tool which has worked wonderfully with these. The labeling seems accurate on mine, but I only bought these once so I have no idea what batch consistency is like; mine were great though.

cheap junk
I bought these to pipette and measure food liquids (oil, juice, vinegar, etc.) to be more accurate on my diet. The pipettes were marked with ink and not etched. The ink was inconsistent in visibility. Some of the lines were thick which decreases accuracy. There are 2 each of the five sizes --0.5 ml, 1 ml, 2ml, 3ml, 5ml, 10ml. Unfortunately, there were 2 bulb sizes a thin red bulb for sizes 0.5, 1, 2, and 3. the bulb had a max volume of 1.75 ml which meant that the 2 ml and 3 ml pipettes were useless. It was also hard to control the uptake in the smaller pipettes because the volume was too large for them, and the bulb was very flimsy. The bigger blue bulb was stiffer and barely fit over the 10 ml pipette, and its volume was too big for the 5 ml. there were manufacturing defects in the bulbs and a chip in the lip of the 1 ml pipette. I doubt the durability of the glass and the markings. I'm returning these.

Good quality for price
I use then to mix pre thinned hobby paints. They seem to hold up well and give way more control than the plastic drops most people want to use. Print is easy to read and the long necks mean you can get fluid from almost any container.
