This product was a lot bigger - and nicer - than it looks in the photos, at least based on my expectation from other reviews. I keep mine outside of the tub to step onto after a shower, and it does the job perfectly. Water is absorbed and it is comfortable to stand on. It is also really pretty and looks more put together than a fabric bath mat that gets moldy or is covered in hair. My boyfriend had never used a wooden bath mat before, and he really enjoys this bath mat. I will definitely order a second one for my second bathroom!UPDATE: 10/25/2016 - this mat has held up fantastically, so much so that I bought a second one for our second bathroom. I love it and highly recommend it!

Excellent find and it looks great in front of my shower door. I like this one because of the pattern arrangement of the wood. It adds interest and it blends well with our light camel colored 20" tile floors. The cat leaves it alone and no more soured smell of wet cushioned mats.

attractive, and the little extra height makes getting in and out of the in-tub shower surprisingly easier. note: nicked it a star because it is not non-skid on a ceramic floor; easily fixed with sticky corners from the hardware store.

I liked this floor mat and thought it was very stylish, but had to return because it was too high to fit under the door (I have a small compact apartment bathroom). Would have kept it if it fit!

Clean, stylish look, sturdy, appropriate size for stepping out of the shower. The finish prevents it from absorbing water as wood might, but I still prefer this to a bath mat or rug.

Seems flimsy, like it will snap if stood on too long (i am about 220 lbs)

We've had this on the tile floor, just outside the shower, in our bathroom for just over 30 days and it's already started showing deterioration from water damage on the bottom (middle support). Considering this product was advertised for this very use, this is very disappointing.
