SHARP, comfortable in the hand, balanced, fun.
I love this knife. It's significant and weighty so if you're looking for a small conceal knife, this isn't it. This is heavier than most, built like a tank, opens swiftly and is sharp as a razor. Beware! EVERYONE I show this knife to loves it. It feels very balanced in the hand. The handle is wide and well perforated for a good grip. The pocket clamp may bother some as far as the grip goes but I've found it's not an issue for me. Also, the clamp's point sticks out quite a lot. This may cause you to brush up against something and scratch it. Be careful. The blade itself is, as you can see by the picture, large. The point is sharp and the blade is dangerously sharp - which is great. I carry this with me all the time and its a great knife for slicing through boxes, rope etc. . It will fill a good portion of your front pocket if that's where you carry, so a holster may not be a bad choice for this. Fun knife - recommend!

Awesome knife.
Knife looks cool and came dangerously sharp! I've been carrying everyday since I purchased it. Seems like a very tough knife.

Love this knife
Knife is awesome. I carry it everyday. The blade holds up good to everyday use. It holds an edge pretty good easy to sharpen as well. I love the black blades but it scratches and stuff so I’d stick with reg silver blade. It was a little expensive but over all great knife and I’d recommend it to anyone that loves knives or wants to carry one for self defense it’s very smooth opening as well. Good size for self defense.

Not terribly bad
I've had previous CJRB knives, and a few were complete headaches, and some were right on the top of the list. Thus far I have found this is one on the top of the list. The design is comfortable in your hand and its balance if workable. The blade comes sharp but be prepared to hone the edge after its first couple of uses. The weight is on the heavy side but not a deal breaker if you are looking for a pure functional knife. With the weight, probably not something I'd carry around as a typical EDC. But that doesn't mean it isn't worth carrying. Takes some 'breaking in' initially as this one came through a little stiff. A little bearing oil and manipulation and it works fine. Durable, practical, and functional for most uses. Overall? If you are looking for the type knife that is heavier than most, I'd say you cannot go wrong and you certainly won't be disappointed.

This Thing is no Joke!
At this point I own almost every knife that CJRB has made and I'm a huge fan of what they do, I've been quite impressed with CJRB's more EDC oriented items like the Feldspar and the Ria. The Tigris is somewhat out of my wheelhouse with such a massive blade, but I really wanted to see how it felt in hand. Once again, I've been blown away, this is such an impressive piece in so many ways. In hand it really is a massive knife, probably one of the biggest folders that I own even if it's not the longest. I was expecting the Tigris to be an absolute brick in pocket, but it's surprisingly well balanced for something this size. I can't say that it's lightweight by any means, but it feel significantly lighter than it looks. The blade is just monstrous, but I feel like that was the whole point, it's a massive, wide blade that actually comes down to a very fine edge, almost like a kitchen knife (it actually works great on a cutting board too). And the handle is really nicely done, I can appreciate the layered G10 and the bold choice of colors, but the best part of it is the grip. There are a lot of grippy knives out there but I'm pretty sure that you could cover the Tigris in Vaseline and it would still stay in your hand, the shape of the grip is just THAT secure. So, while this may not be the kind of knife I normally carry, I can absolutely see why this knife has been so popular, it just has so much character and it feels absolutely reliable in hand!

Great knife for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I decided to go a bit different than the normal drop point and tanto blades I usually get. I saw it, it looked interesting, and I clicked “buy”. It arrived on time and packaged well. It was A bit bigger than the norm. I have bigger hands and it fit perfect. It was well built and easy to grip. Opening it one handed with the flipper lever on the back of the blade was smooth and easy. It locked up tight with no slop. It closed just as easy with the well designed liner lock. I am usually a Kershaw guy, but this impressed! It’s like having a Ginsu knife in your pocket. It should be great for food prep when camping. You guys got a fold up pocket cutting board to go with it? Highly recommend!

WOW
Great knife - Extremeley sharp & Holds an edge.I was worried it would be way too big but its not a problem to carry. I mainly wear shorts year round & forget its in there.Coolest design Ive seen - Great detail with all of the design points. Ive spent way more for knives that were no where near as nice as this.

This knife is a beast.
I bought this knife because I was looking for a cleaver style blade. I have several other knives- Kershaw, Gerber and Buck- bur did not want to get the Gerber clever style knife due to the reviews. A friend suggested this knife and I am glad he did. I have used it to cut heavy rope, strip branches from tree limbs and sliced through corrugated cardboard and have yet to resharpen it. It is very sturdy and holds an edge better than some of my other knives.
