Does require a bit of glue for the base part that acts as a cup to hold the center pole and I had to use some small files(sandpaper would work as well.) to make joints fit better. Only really frustrating part was getting the center columns into the piece that holds them all together. I would recommend sanding and glue for this step. Aside from that once fully assembled product turned out beautifully. Bought as a gift but I enjoy putting these types of wooden models together and this was a pretty fun build. I love that the carousel actually spins and am sure the person it's for will thoroughly enjoy the gift.

Even clumsy me could handle this! I can't believe how incredibly well made this was. I had some problems because I needed to take my time. Patience is not my strong suit. Everything was beautiful and there were extra pieces! If you're just starting out with wood puzzles, this is a great one!

I usually make those metal 3D models, but I found this to be much more attractive (and larger). This was fun to put together even though the instructions aren't super helpful. I used tape to hold things together between steps. I enjoyed both making the model and the finished product.

Fast delivery, good and sturdy material. I did not put it together because I brought it to give as a present. But, it looks lovely, just like the picture, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
