Mother's Recipe Punjabi Mango Pickle 500 Grams, 17.64 Oz

The product is original and tastes perfect but it is much better to buy offline. I bought it online for convenience but it costs like $3 more.Overall it’s good.

WOWI was waiting for this one.It was delivered on time n nicely packed so that I jar doesn’t break during transportation.We enjoy it with every meal.Our food platter is incomplete without it.Helps in digestion Bcz it’s probiotic.Relish it.

This was the first time I have tried Mothers brand. I found the jar to be filled with large sharp pieces of broken mango pit. Quite dangerous to eat and it has a plastic after taste even though bit is packed in a glass jar. I have eaten a lot of hot mango pickles in my day and have never even once found a single piece of mango pit. Mother... you should be ashamed.

The jar was so filled with seed shards that you could feel them scraping the spoon, when stirring it. Nearly every spoonful contained seed fragments. Some spoonfuls were more seed than pickled mango. Seed fragments ranged in size a thumb nail to a pinky nail. Many were flat, some were sharp. It's hard to enjoy when you have to take so much care picking out the shards.The flavor of the pickled mango itself was pretty good: decent spice and sharp, tangy pickle flavor. It very nearly scratched the itch. Unfortunately, it was also too salty.Pickled mango has long been a favorite of ours. We never seemed to go far wrong buying it from the local Indian market (tried many brands). I don't recall any being this salty or seed-filled before.Will have to keep looking.

I was craving some spicy Indian pickle, not too hot, not too mild. This mango pickle is just right. Classic, Indian, curried pickle flavor. Arrived quickly, well packed, in perfect condition.

Este producto lo aprendí a comer con una familia Indu, es muy delicioso, yo lo mezclo con mis comidas, arroz, frijoles etc. Lo recomiendo.

This stuff is delicious. Tart, tangy, mustardy, but not actually hot. I'm allergic to peppers, tomatoes, gluten, soy and sugar - and the punjabi mango pickle is free of them, which is great! It has large chunks of tart green pickled mango in a thick mustard-oily orange sauce bursting with spicy flavor. Very good on anything with beans and rice, or anything Indian or curried. Just beware - there are mango seed fragments attached to some of the mango sections and they are not nice to bite into! However, the pit fragments are part of the subtle flavoring of the pickle, so I bear with them. I did not buy this on Amazon but at an Indian food mart, where it is a fraction of the price offered here.
