Perfect fitting rotor
For what light gravel and paved trails I ride, this is the perfect brake rotor. Quieter than most at the same price range. Easy to install and comes with a metal Shimano branded lock ring (bottom bracket tool needed to tighten...NOT the cassette tool).

You basic brake disc, good Shimano quality.
This is your garden variety brake disk. It works well and came very flat and correct thickness. This is a real shimano part, so it is what the rest of the bike is designed for. Possibly important to you is the size, this is a 180mm. You can look on your existing disk and see what size you need. Gravel and road bikes may use a 160mm, you cannot use a 180mm. It may be important to not touch this with anything oily when installing, that oil can goof up your brake pads. Of course if you're all gnarly and riding in the dirt and water it might not matter much. If you're really into it you can clean it with regular household alcohol. This one includes a mounting part that requires a tool more like a BB tool, if you don't have that tool it may be a problem for you. Some bikes (sometimes gravel and usually road) come with a threaded part that uses a shimano cassette tool to install. Once again, you'll need that tool. You can re-use your old center fastener if the one that comes with the disk does not meet your needs/tool. The fastener will not wear the same way the disk does. You can measure your existing disk to see if it's worn too thin and needs to be replaced, or is bent/rubbing. If your disk is straight/flat you may need to adjust the caliper (and not replace the disk). If you ride through something oily you may need to clean your disk or just replace it. There is a torque setting on the fastener that tells you how tight to install this on your hub.

Very nice.
Great quality part. Fits perfect. Needed the mildest of tweaks to run true. Once bedded in, nice improvement in braking over 180 mil rotors.
