This is the 2nd set I purchased. The kids love having their own roasting stick for sitting around the firepit making smokes. They are sturdy as long as you are careful extending them. Easy to clean.

We wanted to roast marshmallows for a birthday on a big bonfire, and I wanted actual roasting sticks instead of trying to do it with flimsy coat hangars or random sticks in the yard. These were perfect. They can telescope to a pretty far distance so you're not in significant danger of roasting yourself. They're stable and stay pointed in 1 direction instead of flopping over like coat hangars do. We had a TON of marshmallows and chocolate leftover after the party, so we use them to roast marshmallows right on the gas burner on the stove for late-night dessert.Also, it's 8 of them for a good price, and each one has its own color so everyone can choose a color and know which one is theirs. If I had to pick out a negative about them, they don't feel extremely high quality. The color piece that fits on the handle feels like it could come off easily. That said, I've used them quite a lot since receiving them, and so far haven't had a single issue. Definitely worth it.
