Not Really Impressed - Bad Fit and Finish
As someone who used the Perfect Pod Eco-Fill 1.0 cups, and their filer papers by the thousands (really), this 2.0 device (EF2) is not at all as impressive. On the positive side, I have tried the EF2 with and without the filter papers, and found the experience to be almost equal in the ability to keep the grounds out of the brewed cup of coffee; so there is that. However, it ends there. The deficits outweigh that singular positive: I tried the EF2 with a "smaller" brew (10 oz) and less grounds, it wasn't topped off, and found that the cup leaked around the lid (more on that in a moment), and there was this 'slurry' left that was very difficult to rinse out. Back to the lid, it does not seal well at all; at least mine does not anyway. I have tried it with the filter papers and without. Invariably the lid does not provide that nice 'click' or 'snap' to verify there is a good seal between the cup and the lid. Then when you go to remove the 'closed' cup from the brewer the lid pops open, and it is now a juggling act with a very hot piece of metal and plastic, to get the EF2 out of the brewer and not get grounds all over the inside of the brewer (or the countertop). So, while the cup 'works' it definitely needs a redesign, particularly give the price point! Since it is not entirely worthless, I gave it two stars.

Disappointing
This product appeared to be the same as the one I've used successfully from "Eco-fill". However, when I tested the pod in my K-series K80 (half full of coffee - same as my "control" pod), I discovered that it caused significant leaking of hot water around the machine. When I pulled the pod out of the machine, the top was still closed, so it was not user error that triggered the leaking water. There are a few differences between this cup and the reusable pod that I can use without leaks for my "control" test: 1) On the bottom, there is one opening rather than two, so it must be perfectly aligned in the machine to work. 2) The circle at the top is deeper, and the opening for the needle has a larger diameter than the one that works without leaking. 3) When closing the lid, it does not "click" or indicate that the closure is fully engaged. In conclusion, this pod is not one I would recommend. I am not fussy about my coffee, and actually do add water to it at times. I also regularly clean the outside of the machine, so I'm not concerned about the sanitary aspect of leaking water around the machine into my cup. Therefore, I'll probably keep the leaky pod just in case I find myself needing it if/when my primary leak-free reusable pod breaks. However, I'll be continuing to look for my original Eco-fill model as a backup and, if found before the return window closes, will return this one.

Is it really worth the hassle?
This product performs exactly as advertised and consistently performs very well and in a trouble-free fashion. My Keurig has not once registered a single DRM error. It works 100% of the time. This product commendably keeps the promises that it makes to you. However, in considering this purchase, one must consider the value of their time and aggravation for something as routine as making coffee. The time and aggravation associated with using this project rather than using disposable K-Cups is just not worth it in the long run and in my personal opinion. Your personal opinion may differ from mine depending upon what is important to you.I also have a French press - a slower and more involved coffee making process. When I'm in the mood to take multiple steps and more time to make coffee, I use my French Press. This allows me to use special grinds and seasoned coffees. The reason I own a Keurig is to enjoy the benefits of speed and efficiency. To use this product in a Keurig defeats the speed, efficiency and consistency benefits that Keurigs and disposable K-Cups offer.Although it is not difficult to clean this product very easily under strong running warm water, this does add a step to the coffee making process that you must consider when evaluating this purchase.Although I continue to use this product from time to time as a backup if I run out of disposable K-Cups, I still find it more efficient to use disposable K-Cups from high-end suppliers such as Lavazza to give me a consistently high-quality coffee experience. In my opinion, I think this product is priced as a tremendous value. It is great to have on hand but it has not inspired a routine change in my morning coffee ritual. I think you can't lose by buying this, but I don't suggest it will cause the earth moving changes suggested within its product description.

Simple and easy to use
Makes me feel much better using reusable instead of disposable Kcups. Does tend to leave a little bit of a fine ground coffee film that you can only filter out using paper/fiber filters, but im very happy with this purchase.

Does not fit in machine
Despite watching YouTube videos on how to settle these in the Kurig, and working carefully so as to not damage my machine, I'm spending five minute every morning trying over and over to settle the stupid pod. Today, after trying carefully for about 20 minutes, I can't close the machine. I think the damn things broke my machine. Even when I could finally get them to work, they would only work facing one direction.
