Rugged Cell Phone,Huadoo H1 IP68 Outdoor Waterproof Unlocked Rugged Mobile Phone ,Quadband Camera Flashlight Bluetooth (Black)

This is a very basic phone. I did not expect any smartness for the price I paid. However, couple of things I assumed that are standard, are not available. No regrets. I am still going to use it.What I like about thisA. Simple, easy to use, loud and clearB. Really rugged.C. The customer support person assigned to my purchase has been friendly, helpful and responses quick.Now, let me list out the things that this phone doesn't have.1. Date and Time - Every time you pop-out battery and you re insert, or if the phone come live after the recharge of drained battery, you have to re-enter the date and time. NO, it does not sync with Carrier's Network.2. Internet - Doesn't work. It looks for Proxy and connection settings. Doesn't connect automatically with Carrier's network. Well, I wanted a 'dumb phone'. So, no complaints.3. Roaming - It did not work inspite of setting the network to 'Automatic' at my work place. I really have to do some additional testing.

clunky/primitive software, data connection issues, not very much finesse it leaves a lot to be desired, handles phone calls, water and sawdust well though. the FM function and one-touch flashlight are really useful(aside from the light turning on in my pocket all the time). The Battery is SUPERHEAVYDUTY though, weekly recharge at most.

If I would have known that it was a 2 gig I would have never ordered it because I cannot use it no more.

I will buy later the T-mobile or AT&T simcard so I can use this phone.Other than that, the phone is nice and looks very strong. I have trouble with this phone because the total wireless simcard that I have bought for this phone didn't work and called customer service and found out that phone is not compatible to this simcard even though the phone said it's CDMA compatible.
