Good quality
Good quality material, white. Opaque enough for some netting for the window. Have washed many times and has been great. Just thick enough for netting, but it depends on what you'd like to use it for.

What a Strain!
I searched everywhere for this—no one seemed to have even heard of muslin or cheesecloth, let alone stock it! I was starting to think it was impossible to find and regretted throwing out my old ones instead of washing them. What a strain! 😅Thankfully, it was worth the short wait for these to arrive—sanity restored! The product is exactly as expected and does the job perfectly. I used to take these for granted as cheap and readily available, but it seems those days are long gone!

Having muslin to hand.
Excellent. Perfect for straining, covering Christmas puddings etc.

OK but comes in 1 metre lenghts
Muslin is not that sheer, was heavier than expected but was fine for my purposes.I ordered 2 metres and it came as 2 separate 1 metre pieces - wasn't an issue for what I was making, but would be a problem if I'd needed a length longer than 1metre.

Used for cooking!
Used to boil a traditional Scottish clootie dumpling! It was good quality and value and did what I wanted it to!

Not really what I was expecting.
To me muslin/cheesecloth suggests something a lot lighter than this. The density and texture are more like school shirt/blouse material, or bed linen. I have worn both muslin and cheesecloth, in the '70s it was practically compulsory summer wear, this is nothing like it. On the plus side, this makes it a lot easier to cut and sew, but it really wasn't what I was looking for, but I can make do, I just won't get the 'look' I wanted.
