This was defective. It must have gotten too hot at one time. The clear plastic backing that protects the adhesive was impossible to remove. the Velcro itself functioned fine but if you cant get the tape off the back it renders it useless. I did not return as I had already cut numerous strips from the product. Ended up hot gluing the strips to make them stick.

The adhesion is so strong that the paint on my wall was taken off when I tried to take it off the wall, so it's important to do it right the first time. It is also quite different to take off the black from the adhesion side but using a knife will make it much easier.

Simplicity, easy to apply.. Clean the area you want to with something like methylated spirits to get of invisible fat deposits on the surface. If using on furniture thisbis not necessary. Altogether, holds strong, happy with purchase ..

I’ll admit the glue that holds the product is great…. Maybe too great. The user experience of peeling the plastic cover off the glue was terrible. It was basically sealed shut and took me 10 minutes alone to just peel it off. In an covid era, was not pleased the best option I had was to use my teeth. I don’t know if the issue was just my product, or it’s a general issue. But the glue holding the plastic was stronger than my will to live. And after this experience, my will has gone even lower.

It is a good quality and it sticks very well. The downside, was that it took forever to peel the backside to expose the adhesive.
