I used this to speed up the wait time on my henna hair color. I used to sit with an electric blanket draped over my head, but this is much easier. I can watch TV while I wait. The cord is just long enough, but I would like if it was a little longer. This thing gets hot. Good product.

I was so happy to find this here. I used to have something similar but have been unable to locate it. I believe I loaned it out and it did not get returned. Anyway, I've used this heat cap two different ways for deep conditioning. I've used it for a hot oil treatment, where I apply Almond Oil (may use Apricot, Avocado, or Olive Oil) to my hair, comb through, put the shower cap on to protect the heat cap from becoming gooey and messy, put the heat cap on and allow it to heat up, leave on for 20 minutes, then wash and condition my hair as usual, resulting in a lovely hot oil treatment. The other way is to wash my hair first, then apply conditioner or a conditioning mask, put the shower cap on, then the heat mask, allow it to heat up and wear for 20 minutes, then rinse conditioner out and do my hair as usual. Either way, it works wonderfully. I usually prefer to use it with conditioner/conditioning mask, but both work great. I prefer the low heat setting, as it's plenty warm to infuse the conditioner/oil. It feels warm and cozy. The heat feels well balanced and comfortable. This really helps my hair, especially with our cold winters and the dry heat on. This process restores a bit of shine, moisture, and bounce to my wavy, dry hair. I'm very happy with this conditioning cap and recommend it highly.

Works well. High heat is very hot so may want to go with low setting as that is also hot. Packaging is nice, looks expensive.

This heating cap is high quality and functional. Its design, materials & finishes are all very good. I highly recommend. In contrast, another brand I bought from Amazon with a similar design and same price was the exact opposite of SPTHTHHPY. Its materials, finishes & design (fitting) are terrible. Needless to say I have returned it.

The box said it’s supposed to have 3 settings and it’s only 2. This is disappointing seeing how I wanted to put it on Medium not keep it on Low and the instructions say you can’t put it on High 🙄.Only the top of my hair feels warm while the rest is lukewarm. The problem is I’m not sure what this is supposed to do.Bcx it’s missing a setting I’m only giving this 3/5

This is a good device if you are a fan of deep conditioning treatments for your hair in the comfort of your home. This device is easy to use, the heat coming from the device is enough to penetrate layers of hair.I am really satisfy with the device.

I have low porosity, 4c hair, and my hair started off very very dry; I'm also recovering from protein overload. I started of pre-pooing and detangling my hair with water and oil only. Then I used the hair steamer to do a hot oil treatment for about 20 minutes. My hair came out so so soft before I even washed it. After I shampooed, I added my deep conditioner and sat under the steamer for another 25-30 minutes. I rinsed out my deep conditioner using my regular conditioner, and added my leave in conditioner along with some more oil and heat protectant. I put on a plastic cap and let my hair moisturize overnight. The next day, I blow dried my hair, and the end results, were remarkable. My hair has never felt so soft and moisturized. This steam cap really helped the products penetrate into my hair like never before. I definitely believe that adding this steamer to your hair routine affects your results tremendously, not to forget that it's in the comfort of your own home. :)

I would have preferred if the heatinghad a higher setting; still, if you sit long enough, it works fine.
