Doesn't quite sit right on the dash. It wobbles unless you bend the brace to make a snug fit. No big deal as long as you are careful not to bend the frame. The big concern is usability. I order to change from portrait to landscape you have to remove the phone, unscrew a screw, change the orientation, tighten the screw and then put the phone back in. Make up your mind which orientation you want for your phone before heading out on the road.

I bought a phone holder designed for a bike and mounted on this, it's sturdy, no bounce...no more picking my phone off the floor.

This mount looks and functions as intended. It is a great addition to my Jeep, however if you park your jeep in the sun on a regular basis you may want to pass on this. This thing get nuclear hot sitting in the sun for more than an hour. It gets so hot that you can't touch it and if you do manage to get your phone on it, it will immediately run hot. Luckily both at work and home I park in a parking deck and garage, but just know if you get this you will need to come up with a contingency plan for parking in the sun, like draping a cloth or something over it to stop it from getting hot.

This mount is very straight forward to install. Uses factory screw under dash tray to secure it, and has some rubber pads to dampen the slight vibrations. Heavy duty steel look. I only wish it had one handed operation or a mounting knob for standard phone mounts. I like that I can slide the phone all the way over and not have to look so far across the dash to see my phone directions. Can mount vertical or horizontal. Ships with everything you need in the box except for directions, but really who needs those?

I have a 4 door 2012 jeep wrangler but the bracket will not fit. The bracket center leg is too short. Tried installing the bracket but the bracket would tip forward and the two legs left and right would not sit flush down on the dash. At first I thought the center leg angle was off, but then I noticed it was too short and that there were a few mm missing. I went back and looked through the photos ensuring that I was mounting it correctly and not backwards and noticed a photo with dimensions. Sure enough, my center leg is not the 2.3 inches as shown. I love the idea, so I gave the product at least two stars. Poor quality control? Cutting corners to save money? What ever the cause, the product does not work. It's a shame.
