Smooth but a bit pricey
Easy on the digestive system and packs a good flavor. Low acidity and smooth. Not sure it’s worth almost $30 a bag though.

Doesn't taste terrible!
Got gifted this coffee by a neighbor last year and I just punched into it this year, I must say it does taste great. Other beans/pre-ground I've used always taste bitter and acidic... and sure this still taste bitter but it is the best tasting coffee I've had. It tastes great with a Kurieg but even better using a Areo Press because, as other reviews have put it, the way you brew it matter. But even more than that, the size of the grind matters too, I've found that medium fine is best.Makes great coffee with KURIEG, AREO PRESS, and with a MOKA POT

A Unique, Splendid Coffee
Kion Organic Coffee is a "clean" coffee absent of pesticides, toxins, mold, yeas, and mycotoxins. As a company, Kion requires its farms to farm sustainably and ethically. If these things don't matter to you, then you'll be unlikely to look Kion's way. This is not necessarily a "value" coffee but a premium coffee for the discerning coffee connoisseur who seeks the purity of a coffee bean rather than the preservatives so often found in coffee. The moment this dark roast, which is likely on the light end of what it means to be a dark roast, arrived in my home the room was filled with a delightful aroma with hints of coffee and caramel. This whole bean coffee was quickly put through the grinder and I subsequently made my first pot of absolutely wonderful coffee. The coffee itself is smooth and lacks the edge often associated with some coffees. It has a subtle boldness to it that I really love. I am also finding that this coffee doesn't disagree with my system as much as an awful lot of other coffees. I think the purity of the product really is easier on my digestive system.I'm not sure this is a coffee I would drink every day because it is a bit of a splurge, but it's such a unique, splendid coffee that I can easily see myself treating it as a coffee for special occasions and as a special treat. Possessing both ethics I appreciate and a taste I love, Kion Organic Coffee has definitely found a place in my household.

Makes some good coffee, but 1 concern..
So I was looking for the expiration date on the bag and noticed the sticker on the bottom.. I also noticed that there was sticker under that one so I pulled off the top one and the first sticker said "03/05/2021" that would make this coffee 4 months passed the expiration date if it were true, so I opened the bag... the beans looked nice and oily so I think that the date was a mistake because usually old beans look dry.. but just wanted to mention that if anyone else noticed it... it does make a really good coffee though cold or hot! I really appreciate the fact that they go out of their way to mention it is organic and toxin/mild free. My health is very important to me and I always want to make sure I'm ingesting the best quality ingredients. The dark roast is my favorite!

Wonderful Coffee; Confusing Labeling
I was a little confused about the labeling on the front side of the package. At the bottom of the package it is labeled as medium roast but then above that there is a sticker that calls it a dark roast. Which one is it?Going off of the flavor of this coffee, I would describe it as more of a medium roast. It doesn't have those bitter aftertaste notes that I typically receive with a dark roast but then again this is also robust and full of flavor so it is kind of hard to tell. I think for clarifications sake I will call it a medium dark roast.Either way, I am very pleased with this coffee and I think it tastes delicious. The beans are nice and fresh. I like it and I would recommend it, even with the labeling confusion.
