Crossbreed Holsters MiniTuck Concealed Carry Holster for S&W Shield (Right)

I use this holster on a daily basis for work. It's definitely comfortable and works great to conceal. My only grip about it is the clips are strong, but require a thicker belt. I wear a lot of lightweight clothing during the summer and I have to make sure that I wear a belt that will sufficiently be grabbed by the clips. I've tried a cobra belt with thick webbing, but that was still too thin. You almost need a leather belt to feel comfortable about the grabbing power. I actually had the whole thing fly out when running and immediately switched to a new belt.

This cc holster is quite comfortable after applying Cetaphil moisturizing cream a couple of times to soften the leather, It has become my favorite for my M&P Shield. It is more comfortable than my other IWB CCW holsters. Don't let the size scare you, it fits in the appendix and side carry very nice. EZ draw and re-holstering. My practice is done on a private range and I do draw and fire practice, and re-holstering is very easy. The double belt clips make this a very stable holster. I wear loose fitting tee shirts and shirt jackets that conceal what little shows with the Shield in this holster.

It took several weeks of part time use to break in the stiff leather but after that it has become one of my favorite holsters. The gun is secure when inserted and the holster does not move around on my waist. It allows very good ability to tuck in my shirt and not be obvious to the casual observer that I am carrying. I have recommended it to friends as a good alternative when you don't want to walk around with your shirt untucked all the time.

Pros, leather is thick, strong and smooth, construction is solid and firearms retention is perfect. Cons, i had to cut the Kydex near the trigger other wise it would dig into my middle finger, I also trimmed the leather to allow for a better grip without the holster rubbing my thumb, also holster is pretty plain. (See pictures) Overall after modification holster performs as a 5.

Good holster--very comfortable. But the metal clips should be replaced with Ulti-clips before using. The metal factory clips easily slip off your belt, causing the gun to fall out when you get out of the car. This happened to me multiple times. Dangerous and embarrassing.

The leather is stiff but contours well with just a few days of wearing. I have tried several smaller holsters and was hesitant to go with the larger one. The larger back relieves hot spots.

If you carry you already know that Crossbreed is top notch and their reputation will superceed any review.That being said, if you carry a M&P Shield and are torn between the super/mini tuck let me say the mini tuck is the way to go. Trying both, the supertuck was too much holster for the slim compact design of the shield. The mini tuck however is a perfect fit and keeps the small form factor the Shield is known for.

Best holster I ever had. It's so comfortable and easy on the waist line. I don't even feel my 40. No pant sag or belt sag, it's tight and comfortable. As far as it feels like breaking in doesn't seem to be an issue, love it !
