UPDATE: While I LOVE the concept....the execution is not so great. IF you are capable of accepting these are disposable and must be replaced often, then they are good. If you expect them to last longer than a month or 3......then you WILL be disappointed. At $10 I am actually in between on acceptance and frustration. Cool when they work......but $5-10 every month cost???? Not sure how I feel. Hence the 3 stars.....5 stars for how much I like them when they work. 1 star for 4 different ones breaking over a short period of time..AWESOME! My only regret is waiting so long to get these. I have 2 young boys (enough said) and a wife who literally thinks a snake is going to come thru the pipes into the toilet and she turns the light on just to make sure one isn't in there. No more. These lights are more than bright enough for you to see inside the entire bowl. In addition, they are bright enough that the kids have no excuse for missing and peeing on the toilet seats.They install in seconds...no exaggeration. Put in a battery, bend the hook piece to fit your bowl and put it on. Done. I will admit the first one took me longer to figure out how it hooks on the toilet....there weren't any directions stating how to do this. It is so easy I guess the manufacturer figured anyone would know how to. After I did the second one was in in seconds.The motion activation works as it should. If it appears to be too sensitive for you then all you have to do is reposition the sensor to point away from you a little more until it works as desired. The great thing about it is the saving of the battery by not automatically being on just because it is dark.One other area someone might question is the brightness being too bright. NO. With the seat down the glow around the ring of the toilet where the seat meets is plenty of light to see the toilet in the dark and not so bright as to annoy anyone.Great product I highly recommend!

I didn't keep it in the toilet. Did not like the idea of cleaning it! I have it set near there and it works like a charm. Turns on QUICKLY and doesn't stay on long. The second one I have in my living room as before I go to bed I seem to need to wander back into the kitchen several times and this lights the way so I don't have to turn the lights on and off. Works well for my purposes. It changes colors so you can leave it that way, or, as I do, pick a color and press the button and it will only turn on to that color. There really is no "white" light, so the best you can get is a light blue or light green. I like the blue. Takes three batteries, so be prepared. That is six total for the two of them. I really do like them a lot!!!

As silly as an item like this is, it actually is quite handy. I don't need a nightlight on anymore as this lights up the minute I walk in the bathroom at night. Not so bright it wakes you up just enough to see where you are headed.The downside is it hangs into the bowl. Meaning the end of it is, well, in range. So now I have something else to clean. It just seems rather unhygienic. I think I will take mine and see if i can find a light adhesive to just attach it to side of toilet so it doesn't hang into the bowl itself.A silly concept but useful.

Love this product! We don't have to turn on the lights for the middle of the night trips to the potty.UPDATE: This product stopped working at 2 months of use. =( I wish it lasted longer as it was great when it lasted.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING! Such a fun little addition to my bathroom! the product is not too noticeable against my white toilet, and the sensor works very well! I often times see the light turn on as I am walking past my bathroom. The sensor is set to turn on anytime it sees movement in the dark. Also, the light is very bright, and lights the toilet water well. The only downside is that It is slightly difficult to place on the toilet. Aside from that, I love it! Also, I clicked 'quantity 1' at the checkout, not knowing I was getting TWO lights in one package! Ended up getting 2 lights for $15 when i thought i was only getting one. I'd say thats a pretty sweet deal :)

Worked great for almost a year, now it does not turn off till I pull the batteries.Prior to that I loved it, though I had to put it on the far side of the toilet so it would not turn on when I walk by the door, and while peeing I would sometimes have to move my leg to turn it back on.

I was worried they would be over used with any traffic that went by, especially on the hall bathroom, but the sensor seems to be perfectly zoned for movement pretty close to the toilet, and they're only activated if it's dark with movement, so that saves the battery. Had them a very weeks so far and we love them. Perfect for night time, and we realized they're a fantastic toilet training tool for 3 year old boys!! He constantly asks to go to the bathroom now, lol.

I have installed two of these on two of my bathrooms. Works well, takes a little while to get the color locked in as it continues to rotate pretty quickly. I do also wish that it would stay on a little bit longer, as while well....standing there the light will turn off half way.
