Wanted a bedside reading lamp for using late at night so I wouldn't wake up my husband. This lamp is bright enough to read by & doesn't take up a lot of space. Plus it's rechargeable which is a plus for me since we have had quite a few power outages lately. Looking forward to taking this on my next trip.

This is a very attractive LED Desk Lamp. It arrived with a USB Power Base and Dedicated 31 inch Plug and short instruction booklet.After you read this review, there are 5 pictures of this lamp and more information shown...please check below.There are several things that I very much like about this lamp and a couple of very minor cons that I did not like:PROS:1 Small on a desk...the base has a small footprint. This size is perfect for a student desk or a smaller desk.2 Light Output...There are 3 levels of light, High, Medium and Low. The highest light is wonderful for reading a book or any type of close-up work. The very lowest light I leave on kind of like a night light for better security at night.3 Totally Adjustable to Reading Height..I found that I could focus the light on any task light reading, overall lighting and more.4 Foldable for travel and folds totally flat. I was able to place this in my carryon bag easily.This lamp is perfect for taking on trips.5 Looks very modern and the color and design looks great in any decor.6 Looks classy and chic for such a simple lamp.CONS (MINOR):1 The length of the cord is only 31 inches. I happened to have a plug-in outlet right in the back of my desk and it did just fit. Had my outlet been a couple of inches further, I would have had to add an extension cord to be able to plug it in.***The reason for the short cord could be because this lamp is for travel perhaps...not sure on this.2 Instructions state there are One and Two buttons to press (see in picture below)... After testing for 20 minutes trying to turn this on, I discovered that just to very quickly TAP the On/Off Button.**Again turn on and off this lamp do this:Tap the On/Off Button Quickly one time to turn on lamp.To change the light to medium tap again quickly, tap again for high. If you keep tapping quickly, it turns the lamp off.Because I like the lamp (in spite of the minor Cons), my true rating is 4.8 stars, rounded off to 5 stars. So I am being generous with this because on my opinion, this is an excellent lamp.We'll, I took a lot of time testing this lamp and I hope that my review with details and pictures are helpful for you.Note: This lamp was provided to me for testing and reviewing purposes. I have tested and reviewed this just the same way that I review any item on Amazon. My opinion is that it works as advertised and I really like this lamp. The media could not be loaded.  My daughter studies in her room and the lighting in her room is not the best. I shopped around and didn't want to spend too much, so I chose this one. I didn't want to spend $30 and was wanting to keep it closer to $20. So I pulled the trigger on this one. I am very glad that I did. This lamp has exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting the lighted ring around the base. I had to record a video of it so you can see it in action. Anyways, here is what my daughter likes about it:Pros:1. It's easily portable and she uses it in her bed to read2. Three light settings and the highest setting is super bright3. Batteries built into light, so no need to change them4. Heavy base and the light has multiple ways to be adjusted to get closer to something.5. My daughter even uses it to light up her face to put make-up onCons:1. Wish the charging cord was longerOverall a great desk lap and definitely recommend it. I might even use it as a flashlight on future projects if she will let me borrow it.

I wanted to like this little lamp. At first it seemed perfect for my reading desk. I began to notice that the position would not stay and the lamp would slowly lean forward and have to be repositioned periodically. Also,it starts out nice and bright on the high setting,but begins to dim in a very short time,making it a poor reading lamp. Sadly,I will be returning it. There may be others at a similar price point that work better here at amazon.

What a terrific little lamp! I bought it because I travel to countries with unreliable electricity, which is where I am right now. When the electricity goes out while I have the lamp on, I don't have to stumble around for a flashlight (= torch). Hotel lamps in these countries don't provide the best light anyway, so this really helps me to see things close up and comfortably when I need to. By leaving the base light on when I otherwise turn the main light off, I have a very pleasant aurora-like night light. Very soothing. And, if the electricity is off, the "aurora" base lets me find the lamp to turn it on using the battery power. Best of all, it folds completely flat which means packing is easy. I travel to developing nations several times a year and this lamp will be on my packing list every time. Worth every penny and more.

This desk lamp can also serve as nightstand light. It has three levels of dimmable LED lights and a color light on the base that randomly change colors. The base has both touch-switches to control both functions. You cannot set it to a single color to stay but the light pastel tone is pleasant no matter what color. It comes with a 32 inch USB plug and 115VAC wall outlet adapter. Best of all, you can simply unplug since it is battery operated too. I will post further updates with battery life details in a few days. It comes with brief instructions in good English, although the setup and functionality are both intuitive enough for a two year old. UPDATE: Battery life. Just amazing: at full bright discharge without color LED base, it lasted about 14 hours, of which 6 hrs were at full bright...after that the light slowly dims.

Super sleek! Great variety of lighting. We use this on a desk in a corner without an outlet. Would definitely give 5 stars if the battery lasted a little longer.
