Mujingfang Rosewood 7" Smoothing Plane for Hardwoods

Description

Our Mujingfang 7" Smoothing Plane can be used either with or without the handles and can either be pushed or pulled. The blade is set at 45ø and has a chip-breaker which is attached via a screw to the blade. The cutting portion of the blade is A2 high speed steel tempered to Rockwell 62-63. The blades are sharpened and will cut, but for best performance they should be fully honed prior to use. This plane is made from Rosewood and is used as a smoothing plane. It is 7" x 2-1/2" with a 1-3/4" wide blade.
