Denali Active Chillax Cooler Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated

I bought this after I used the Yeti version at a friends house. It kept our beers extremely cold, so I wanted to get something similar for my dad for his birthday and for my me just because. The Yeti one was like $30, which is a LOT, even for a metal Koozie.These came in a pretty normal box, packing was rather simple. The quality of the koozie seems well made. I bought 1 black, 2 blue, and 1 silver. The black and blue ones have a nice coating of paint on them, and the metal on all 4 seems high quality and seems pretty thick. I don't think they are dishwasher safe, but they are koozies so do you really need to "wash" them any more than simply rinsing them? Probably not.I used mine over the weekend and it seems to perform just as well as the Yeti I used at my friends house. My beer stayed icey cold as if I had taken it straight from the fridge. I prefer bottled beer, and the rubber gasket fit just right on my beers. With the bottles, the top part of the bottle is slightly exposed but that's not really a big deal to me. This can also be used for non-beer related cans and bottles as well.Based on my limited use, and the physical inspection, I would recommend purchasing to anyone.(edit):I have had a chance to use this a tad more so I thought I'd update my review. I am primarily a bottle and draft guy, rarely buying canned beer as I feel it has a "metal" taste. I am dropping by one star as I feel the top seal part should be altered to give a little bit better seal for glass bottles. The problem is that most bottles are JUST slightly too small for the rubber/plastic seal to be useful, making the seal loose and allowing the bottles to not fit tightly. This makes using it with bottles a tad bit unsafe, as you instinctively grab the bottle and the cooler will then slip off. I have almost spilled several beers due to forgetting to hold my beer by the cooler and then instinctively trying to catch it mid-air to prevent things from falling.Bottom line, I still love them, but I think the top should be made a tad smaller in circumference to better seal for bottles.

I deserve a cold beer!! A friend of mine showed up at my house with one of these. Without even using it I purchased 2 just because I liked the design so much. Why 2? Because when I logged into amazon and saw they were $5.90... Why not?Takes me roughly 30 minutes to drink a can of beer and this thing keeps the beer cold to the last drop. More fun is to then take the beer out, place your hand inside the koozie and realize it's still cold in there.Another friend of mine has a $30 Yedi koozie. I let him try this and he stated it worked just as well.Buy a few: You deserve a cold beer too!!

Love this can cooler. It keeps my Coors Light cold to the last drop. The sangria color is even prettier than I expected. It's a deep rich pink. My husban,, son, and son-in-law, all have the yeti koozies, which I have used. I think mine works just as well. I'm thrilled and would purchase again in a second if I ever lost this one.

Years ago I bought can coolers that had the gel inside them to keep your can cool for longer (I hate drinking warm soda) and they finally died last year. I was unable to find any more of the type that I had previously bought (it had been about 15 years ago) but I did find this cooler. And it's working great. The coldness doesn't last quite as long as the one I had with the gel in it but it does keep my soda cold long enough for me to drink it without any rush.

I've been looking for a well insulated cooler for my beer for a long time and this one comes closer than any I've experienced. Beer comes in cans and bottles of many different sizes so there's no perfect fit but somehow the Denali figured out a measurement that accommodates practically every size. I'm very happy with it.

These are the perfect compliment to any canned beverage. Purchased 10 of these and had to keep half of them. I think they are perfect. Had no issues with any of them at all. Wife loved the Pink one and i kept the Blue and Stainless for my self. Gave the rest to friends and they loved them too. Great Product....Compared to Y#ti this knocks it out of the park.

Arrived on time. Seller notified me with information in case there was a problem. No problems to date. Works as expected. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I don't buy beer in a can, only bottles. You have to take the black ring off first in order to insert the bottle which I knew from other reviews. As an aside, I keep the cooler in my frig so when I am wanting a cold beverage it keeps it colder a bit longer.

Definitely keeps drinks way cooler than foam and fabric huggers. I didn't get scientific with actual time/temperature measurements like other reviews. But honestly, my palate isn't sure what 5 degrees difference tastes like. I just know that my drink stays stays cooler in this hugger than any other I have. And by a noticeable amount. Very worthwhile purchase. I am starting to buy as gifts now.
