Durable, really nice performance with the clamp the suction never fails. Easy to use and assemble I have used it to feed food to my axolotls, and I use to clean the tank. The top doesn't leak it has a very strong clamp that holds it onto the acrylic tube very nicely creating a great seal allowing for a quick clean suction that allows you to fill the entire siphon making hand cleaning the waste from my axolotls a breeze in between feedings. I use this literally all the time and I have smacked it super hard on multiple hard surfaces and I've only manged to put a light scratch on it from cracking it hard against the corner of my granite counter 😅

I did not know I needed this until I got it and use it often. I use it all the time to suck up waste or extra food off the bottom. I put shrimp food on the bottom to keep the little pigs with fins getting it first. I also use it to inject bacteria culture products into my filter intakes. It has also been great for sucking the fungal growth of new drift wood. It was also decent at removing bigger bits of thread or hair algae when I had a bout with that. It does take a steady hand to master the bulb pressure for intake/output for delicate maneuvers. A firm squeeze produces a solid stream of water. The tip might drip a little taking a full load out of the tank, but no leaks at the bulb itself. It won't suck the spots off a bristlenose pleco, but suction is decentas one would get from a turkey baster. Over all it's been a good, useful tool.

I measured the tube length after assembling it together and it is 8 inches... I bought this specifically because I needed a long one. I have tallish tank and so I need that extra length. This is completely false advertising as I expect it to be useless for a lot of us with larger tanks. With this, I have to have my hands in the water to use because its so short.

I use this for cleaning my tanks. It does come apart easily to clean after I use it which is nice, but the suction doesn’t work completely if it’s not put back together *just* right. I didn’t move my hand to let it suck the water in in my video, but you can see the chamber starts to fill with water anyway. This isn’t a huge deal, but it’s slightly annoying. If you put the rubber part back on really carefully, this doesn’t always happen.

This is a great tool for placing food in the aquarium where needed. I also use to get one-two things that need to come out. Cleans well.

I cannot recommend this product enough if you hate pest snails and are struggling to assassinate them all! I caught HUNDREDS of pest snails using this lil tool and was able to fully eradicate my tank from the unwanted vermin. I couple this product with a snail catching wall tool for best results.
