BlueDri Negative Machine Airborne Cleaner HEPA Air Scrubber

I won’t do any interior work without one. I found out about air scrubbers earlier this year when I helped a friend demo a bathroom. I had some work come up for a kitchen remodel and decided I should get one. Leaves the air clean, you can see how much dust the pre filter catches alone and it really moves a good amount of air. Not too big, and pretty quiet even at max flow. Seems durable but time will tell. Hoping the best for this unit as it’s already working wonders.

We bought this to use during a huge demolition project in which 3900 sq feet were taken down to the studs, all insulation, flooring and pretty much anything else we could get our hands on was removed. We recently had a flood in our home and the restoration company had brought in this units much more expensive competitor and left them behind for us to use for awhile, after they picked them up we decided we were so impressed wth how well they worked that we needed one to buy for our upcoming much larger project, however we weren't impressed with the competitors pricing- so I found this product and couldn't be happier! It works just as well as the other one and is actually a fair bit quieter than the other ones- it's still noisy but at a more tolerable level. It's actually much less expensive to buy this unit than to rent one even for just a few weeks!! This past weekend we removed all the insulation from our ceilings. We have a relatively flat roof which we found out while removing the insulation that it had at one point been a tar and gravel roof now replaced with a membrane roof, however you can imagine the amount of dust, stones, mold and whatever else was up there since the 50's -pretty much the most disgusting insulation you've ever seen. When we were taking it down you couldn't see across the room - the air was literally black. So we we finished our job, picked up all the insulation and left the air scrubber running. 20 minutes later we returned and the air was totally clear!!! ( we still had to wear masks but the difference was incredible and saved us a ton of cleaning!) We vacuumed off the unit and opened up the hepa filter and vacuumed that off as well and were able to keep working rest of the day- without this machine the dirt and dust in the air would have lingered for many many hours! Couldn't be happier with this machine!

I’m a home owner in the middle of a construction project. The dust from the demo and dry wall sanding, cutting etc was making me cough and giving me some shortness of breath. I was also getting upset about the chemical smells in the house from paint primer, glues, etc. So I decided to try this unit. At the time of purchase I decided to also buy more of the regular filters (i think they are called B filters) , and some of the carbon filters, because apparently the carbon filters remove chemicals and chemical smells from the air. So all in all I spent like $900-$1000. My feeling is that if a $1000 investment keeps my lungs and my mitochondria healthier, I’m 100% in! So the first thing I noticed was you just plug in and turn on. It’s really that easy. But like I said, I did buy the carbon filters so I installed that, and when I say install I mean just place inside and shut the door. Again, very easy! I put the machine on full speed, left the house for several hours and when I came home the air was 100% cleaner and a huge percentage of the smell in the air was gone. I plan to run this in my house non stop until the entire construction project is done. I wish I had bought it earlier because it does not pick up all the dust that is already settled. It only picks up dust that is floating through the air. If I had installed it earlier it would have prevented a lot of this mess!

This is a great product. Holds up well and well built. What’s great every time I have to do something dusty in the house. Sucks it right up

This thing is great for everything. Drywall work, Cement work, Tile mixing, breaking up tile. Moving air around even in a clean environment. Need to buy back up carbon filters and regular filters that work. and you can extend the life of these filters and the Hepa filter that is included by having an air compressor with an air gun attachment to spray the dust out and clean it every so often. I wish the seal was a bit better though that is the only problem.

We had a slow chimney/roof leak after getting a new roof in 2011, and didn't know it. So, the whole wall behind our fireplace was full of mold and we were getting really sick, even our dogs. We got this unit and were able to stay in our house while the roof was getting fixed. After the water dried out in the wall, the mold died, we were advised how to completely kill the mold. So, we drilled 6, 1-inch holes in the wall above our fireplace mantel- 3 on each side- and spray several cans of Lysol (hospital grade, but still had a strong smell) into those holes and into the gap behind one side of the mantel by the window (where the mold smell had been the strongest). Now, this air scrubber is helping us get the Lysol smell & chemicals out of the air, and all we need to do now is patch up the holes and paint the wall. All-in-all, much cheaper than renting this for 2 months, even after buying new filters. And, we didn't have to pay to leave during remediation. We also avoided $3K paying professionals to do mold remediation. I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but it was our only option since there was nowhere else to go while we were working on this issue.

Great machine ,b air filters work with unit. Unsure where to get factory ones. (Response would be nice bluair) So far used as a negative air and as an air scrubber on different jobs. Seals seem to clamp well, dont have aparticle counter to test Easy enough to clean, plastic does have some complex shapes and sharp corners , disposable damp blue cloths do a good job. Just a home owner. Anything that mitigates dust is a huge plus remodeling where a person lives. Can be a bit louder on high setting for scrubbing. Not loud at all on low for negitive air Expensive, my homebrew machine is cheaper and quieter but this one is smaller and lighter (90 vs 40lbs) Dont run a shop vac from plugin the machine, the integrated circuit breaker will pop and needs to be reset Can be used as a hkme purifier, just there is quieter models to choose from.
