So thankful I found this. I purchased it when we hit almost 120 in Portland, which is NOT NORMAL, and I’m so pleased. It’s almost impossible to find an ac with long enough panels to affix it to a slider, so this is an excellent option. I need to redo the cable tie to close the gap (see pic), but even with a tiny little gap it works great and doesn’t impact the cool air. Just a little tricky to get the top of it completely closed, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I was sweating like Niagara Falls so I gave up. Very easy to install though! It’s nice having the opening at the bottom for the tube, and I highly recommend putting the tube as close to the bottom zipper as possible because the weight of the tube keeps it flesh with the fabric on the bottom. Fabric is light weight but thick and I don’t feel any air sneaking though at all. I just let the excess fabric hang, no biggie to me.

Have had this up for 2 seasons now. Works great! With the velcro its super easy to take down when it gets cold and rainy. The velcro strios have a really good glue and has stayed up the whole yr without being in the way or pealing away.

It works and the Velcro is very durable. The system managed to seal up an 8” exhaust vent 97% of the way. Small areas of leakage even with cinched down zip ties but from what I could tell rain would have some trouble getting in. I used it for a crypto mining exhaust and the material could handle the heat / weight of the exhaust vent. However the fabric is pretty thin and transparent. A lot of light, and temperature can pass through pretty easily. I think it is a perfect solution in a pinch but long term I would maybe look into a more permanent product

This was fairly easy to install. I wouldn’t say it’s very durable. But what I didn’t really think about was how bad humidity gets in Florida. Since it’s a thin vinyl like fabric, it definitely doesn’t have the ability to insulate in that it allows heat into the room and the humidity. So what’s the point?

I have 2 portable air conditioners that have a problem every summer with hot air from hose and outdoors leaking in. I found these products by accident on Amazon and figured I'd give them a try, anything would be better than the hard plastic vents which came with the units that are difficult to use. These were so EASY to install and really work so well, no air getting in and air from unit being directed out. I also can quickly take air hose out of window if it's raining too hard and reinstall in seconds when needed. Window is not damaged in any way and can always get more Velcro tape if needed but since I have installed them I have had no problem with them coming loose at all. Highly recommend this product!

I returned this item because I thought it was very flimsy and thin. I figured the hoses would hang down where they went through the curtain material and zipper. I think the zip ties would hold the hoses in okay, but the heaviness of them would pull down on the fabric. I was also concerned that the flimsiness would not hold up well during the summer storms of wind and heavy rain battering against it. I did like the idea of the velcro sealing all around the edge for bugs and at least some rain. The zippers would allow the separation of the hot exhaust hose to be further from the cool intake hose.

The A/c works great for 650sqft apt. We can set it on auto temp to turn or off when we are not home to keep the place cold for our guinea pig. The water does fill with a day use and you will need to empty before the A/c unit will start running again. There is a hose that come with the unit that allows for draining we use a large bucket because we don’t have a drain area. We also had to get netting for our window. Also only raise our electric bill $10-15. Unit is easy to use and set up

We purchased a dual hose portable AC and the only place we could vent it was our sliding glass door. This air lock door seal worked amazingly well. I love that it custom fits our door space, so there's a tight seal all the way around, and it's very easy to go in/out when we need to, thanks to the velcro adhesion. Putting the AC hoses in the zippered spaces provided was simple, and the provided zip ties ensure they stay in place and don't let any hot air back in or get loose over time. We really needed a portable AC solution for this area of our home, where we have no window besides the back door, and this was a great, cost-effective solution. Highly recommend.

I live in a small apartment and have one portable AC unit. I work from home, so I move it back and forth between my bedroom and my living room/office. The only option to hook up the AC in the living room is through the sliding door to my balcony. I was tired of having to choose between accessing my balcony and having a comfortable work space. This is an ideal solution! I’m able to use the Velcro to remove and replace the cover easily without dealing with cardboard and tape. I like it so much that I got the smaller size for my bedroom window too! The adhesive is strong but you can still reposition it if you make a mistake. I have one hose, not two, and it still works well and forms a good seal. My only advice? Don’t use a pair of scissors you like to cut the Velcro strips, they will get very sticky… The horizontal strips are perfectly placed to cut the fabric to the correct size to fit your window/door. Overall, a great purchase that I would recommend to anyone!

Highly recommend this adjustable window seal for your air conditioning. Our ac unit only came with a window kit that was not long enough for a sliding door so we always creatively used cardboard to fill in the gap. No more jerry-rigging. This window seal works like a charm. Easy to install and it fit perfectly. We can open the sliding door simply by undoing the velcro and the hoses stay in place. Great buy and worth every cent.

Super convenient, so easy to install on a sliding door! Being able to easily unstrap it so I can open/close the door is a game changer, since this is mostly for people that have very tall windows or sliding doors on their apartments.

Works like a charm and easy to install. I highly recommend but would like to see a little cheaper. $25 would be fabulous for what the product is. I bought for my mom to keep her cool during the hot summer. Thank goodness we had it.
