I am not a good sleeper and haven't been for years. I have been using Melatonin to get some rest each night, yet I was taking 15 mg tablets every night and that level was not working effectively. I didn't want to continue using Melatonin because of its possible side effects after using it constantly for years. I was looking for something that was natural and would work better than what I was taking. I had used ZzzQuil Liquid previously, yet didn't like the chemicals that were in that formula. When I saw that ZzzQuil had come out with an herbal sleep tablet, and I looked at the ingredient list, and found only natural products I was beyond excited. I was hopeful that this ZzzQuil Restorative Sleep Tablet would work for me. Well, I have now been using these tablets every night for several months now, and am pleased to report that they work better than I could have ever imagined. I take two tablets (the maximum recommended dosage) 30 minutes before going to bed, and I start to get drowsy just before those 30 minutes are up. I am able to go to sleep quickly, and stay asleep for longer periods of time. If I have to get up in the night to use the bathroom, I do my best to keep my mind from wondering, and am generally able to go right back to sleep. There are nights that I wake up and my mind starts racing, yet I am sleeping much better than ever before. I purchased multiple packs of these tablets, so I can make sure that I am never running out...and then noticed they have an expiration date. For a good sleep, without any Melatonin, give these a try. They definitely work for me.

This stuff really works! Love it when I need help falling asleep

This over the counter sleep aid is Melatonin free and Benadryl free. It is made from natural ingredients and seems to help with getting to sleep when taken as directed, but not necessarily staying asleep.

Works Ok. Has a good list of herbal ingredients for sleep but being a chain brand, it then throws in 20 other random ingredients as well that are just so incredibly unnecessary and harmful. Clean it up, make it just a sleep aid. Why does a sleep aid need 2 different coloring ingredients?

This really helps me & my adult family members get to sleep & sleep through the night. I really appreciate that this product does not have melatonin, but still gets me to sleep. It has been difficult to get recently (out of stock?) & I may need to find an alternative. BUT I DON'T WANT AN ALTERNATIVE! I WANT THIS!! Vicks: if you've discontinued this, please dis-discontinue this version of Pure Zzzs Restorative!!

This was a complete waste of good money because it did not help me sleep! I feel that it is counterproductive to put corn syrup and sucrose in a sleep aid! Especially knowing that people avoid melatonin due to hormone disruption and imbalance! Sucrose can also cause issues with the hormones! Corn syrup causes insomnia and restless leg syndrome, among many other health problems! Why is it necessary to put corn syrup and sucrose in a herbal supplement that is intended to be swallowed? It is not like these are gummies! Why ruin a healthy supplement with cheap and bad ingredients such as corn syrup and sucrose? Instead of helping me sleep and rest well, these cause my fasting glucose level to increase day by day! When my glucose is too high, I cannot sleep! I do not recommend this supplement for Diabetics or Women that have Menopause because this supplement worsens Diabetes, Menopause and Insomnia! I also do not recommend this to anyone who respects their body and cares what they put it in it! Sucrose and Corn Syrup can cause cancer! If you are trying to decrease your risk of cancer, do not buy this product! Sucrose and Corn Syrup can cause Diabetes or make it worse if you already have it! This is not a healthy supplement! I regret this purchase and will not buy this again!

I bought these by mistake - I'd intended to purchase the ones with melatonin, but decided to keep them anyway and give them a shot. I'm basing this opinion on taking them for six days. I've slept very well with these, getting 7 straight hours of uninterrupted slumber every night. I'm starting to suspect that melatonin is an overrated supplement since I struggle to get more than 5 hours/night with melatonin supplements - it seems to stop working abruptly after 5 hours, ending with the dreaded "Oh god, it's 3:30am and I have to get up in 3.5 hours" experience. Maybe I'm done with melatonin? It's too early to tell yet if this is a long term answer but I'm very pleased with this mild sleep aid for now. Note: reducing alcohol intake to one drink a day, quitting "the internet" a couple hours before bedtime and cutting off caffeine after 1pm helps a lot, too - along with a lot of exercise during the day - good luck to all of us who struggle to get a full night's sleep during these very trying times. Maybe this will work for you, too.

My favorite sleep aid. I like that it does not have melatonin. It has a herbal mix that does not make me wake up angry or out of it. For some reason some of the stronger sleep aids make me wake up with little emotion and my head is in a fog for a few hours. Weird. But this one does not have any of those side effects. It is hard to find but worth the search.
