Only used the guts and contacts.
--2001 Tundra with push button 4WD--I only used parts of it. Replaced the plastic gear with shaft, and and outside cover with the contacts on mine. Working great. Had trouble originally just replacing the outside cover, so I used the plastic gear and internal shaft as well. Had to manually turn the gear once installed to get it back to 2wd, after that, worked like a champ.Came quick in the mail, and quality was good.Would recommend.

The actuator fit like the original. It appears well made and so far I’m happy with it.
It appears to be made well.

This item did not work.
This transfer case actuator did not work. When plugged into my 2006 Tacoma wiring harness it just caused the indicator on the dash to flash. The actuator did not move. Since I had a lot of time invested in this replacement, I took off the cover to look inside. The photo shows what I found. The inner circuit ring was partially covered in the plastic potting material which prevented the wiper from making electrical contact. This unit could never have passed if it was factory tested - which obviously it wasn't.I repaired the unit by dremeling off the excess plastic.
