You cant adjust it.
The only problem I have with this is that the head doesnt even pivot up or down its stuck in an up position and you cant even adjust it to where you want it. It does get pretty warm though. Over all I would proly go with something else.

Needs to cover more area space. Too small, best to be used on a desktop. Heats up fast that's a plus

product is not as described
This heater is not as described on Amazon and on it's packaging. There is no safety tip over switch. I verified this by not only trying it by tipping it over and by contacting the seller technical support,who was surprised by the absence of the switch on the bottom of the unit. In addition the heating head does not tip up and down. I am guessing that the manufacturer has made some cost saving changes. The seller did not have the switch available for retrofit.

The heating is good and the swivel length is good
This heater is much smaller than our other Duraflame and it was quite disappointing. It can't be adjusted in height at all. The heating is good and the swivel length is good; but, we prefer the previous heater passes this one in accommodating our life style. So I give two stars

Too bright and very little heat
This heater is so bright it's like looking into the sun. If I accidentally look at it I see white spots for several minutes. It's a brilliant white light, not red like in the picture. Even worse, it barely gives off any heat. I've had it on high in a small bedroom for an hour and it's barely taken off the chill.

caution do not place the heater on carpet
The instruction warn not to place the heater on anything soft, such as a bed or clothing that could block the vents.We used ours on a medium shag carpet. The heater failed and burned a hole in our carpet. The company replaced failing heater but declined to replace the five foot by ten foot piece of carpet, referring us to the instructions. At least they replaced the heater.Hope this helps someone else avoid a problem. We have the new one, and another one on our tile for now and to be sure the heater seems to function well other than the carpet situation.
