I needed a couple more large coffee mugs that I could use with my Keurig machine.Always have loved diner mugs. The thick ceramic holds the heat in longer, yet have a smaller, more balanced handle than many mugs today. (I have small hands.)Consider this really a 4 1/2 star rating. So far, my only disappointment is the rather large "well" on the bottom of the mug. I need to turn it over to drain & then blot it dry after running thru the dishwasher.The mugs heat well in the microwave, with the sides getting just a little warm from the beverage -- but the handles staying cool.Like I said, "almost" perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I've been looking for a classic diner mug for ages. There's several brands to choose from that look/are similar, possibly the same. I wasn't going to pay $15 per mug as some brands charge. The reviews, cost per mug and quantity need factored in to going with the Serami. They're heavy, thick, solid mugs and came in a true white (I ordered the Classic White). I originally wanted a 10oz but went with the 11oz. It allows for room at the top for cream/sugar. Video shows 11oz pour. The mugs arrived within 5 days. They were triple boxed and in one piece! Coffee has stayed nice and warm. There's a few cosmetic imperfections but it's not a factor for us. Very pleased!

These are heavy duty thick coffee mugs. I’m astounded by the quality of these mugs. I finally have a coffee cup that keeps my coffee hot till the last drop. I wish I had ordered more than two. They arrived on time and were so well packed and protected there was no way they could arrive damaged. I’ll bet if even Fedex had delivered these they could not have broken them. That’s how well packed they were. I give these mugs my highest rating. These mugs have my stamp of approval. I approve this review.

Two defects on two of the mugs out of six, one has a sharp, unglazed portion of the handle that's small but gets in the way, and the other has a very small defect in the ceramic on the bottom of the cup.I purchased an open box collection that was labeled as being in perfect condition. I sent them a message with a picture, hoping that they would offer to send another mug to complete the set. They gave me a partial refund instead. I offered to send the refund back to get another mug to complete the set, but they said that since they already gave me a refund, regardless of whether I send it back or not, they can't complete the set for me.So I don’t know, I was torn whether to do three or four stars because the response was quick, the refund was instant, and there were no problems. It's just that I really wish they had asked me if I wanted another cup.This is overall my favorite style of cups, very sturdy and thick, nice to hold on to, feels like I’m drinking more coffee than I am. Besides, they help keep the coffee warm, and the curved shape is very pleasant to hold.

I am very pleased with these coffee cups - they are restaurant quality. They hold 11 oz. which is a good size for me to add my creamer. They are heavy duty and look great. My fingers fit into the handle perfectly. I ordered 6 more to have plenty for company or have spares if I should break one. I recommend.

Love the shape size, and balance of the mug. Handle is just right for gripping. Nice heft. Well made; nicely glazed. Sturdy. Simple and classic; goes with everything but fine china. :) Dishwasher safe. Comforting to hold, gets warm, but not hot, from contents. Microwaveable. I just bought a second set to have on hand in the possible (but hopefully remote) case that I might break one by my own carelessness.

Originally, I was trying to find the old classic WAFFLE HOUSE coffee mug. They have changed their design and don't use the same sturdy blank they once did. So I found these plain white Serami Original mugs that are like the old ones but have no printing on them. I ordered two mugs for family members. They arrived quickly — in two days, BUT, one was broken, sadly. I emailed Serami about the broken mug and within a day they got back to me. They said they were replacing the broken mug and, as a measure of good will, were adding a second mug, no charges for either or for shipping. That's good service, if not the best packing of the original order.
