These are awesome for quickly cleaning my gas stovetop. To make it easier to get around the elements, use a fresh scrubber, and use one or two fingers to scrub (much less tiring), I cut them into 1 inch by 2 inch squares. The fresh piece is mighty to remove baked on burnt oils and can be tossed after. The smaller piece gets around the tiny edges much more easily, saves time and your hands because you don’t have to grip a big piece of scouring pad. With this method you can keep others guessing how on earth your gas range is so clean. Just use regular shears—not your good ones, to cut the pads.

I cut these in half so they are easier to use. With a little cleaning powder it will clean off burned on food or grease.

When I have to get my cookware clean, this is my favorite scrubby. This will remove a layer of your metal cookware if you scrub hard and it can do the same to your glassware and plastics causing a cloudy look.

These Scotch Brite scouring pads are wonderful power scrubbers. You just just have to be careful, about what you use them on, if your not careful they can scratch certain surfaces.
