Fun story if your kids arn’t too impressionable
Quick delivery. We love Julia Donaldson in our house and it’s a beautiful book but in the story the girl basically trashes the bathroom and her mum is just fine with it. My 4 year old daughter decided it was a good idea to squirt a tube of toothpaste on her sisters head (because they use it as shampoo in the book) needless to say I wasn’t too impressed.

It's not chicken pox its dragon pox!
I brought this new book for my daughter who is 4 years old as she has just started school. My daughter was so excited when she saw the book as it was pink and lots of glitter. She started looking at the pages and imagining the story. As you can imagine that she made me read the book during bed time and in the morning soon as she got up. It is about the a little girl that has chicken pox. The little girl Ellen want to scratch her nose and was going to when she heard a voice from the bathroom mirror and this little girl is called princess Mirror-Belle. She comes out of the mirror and she also have spots but they are not chicken pox they are dragon pox. The story goes that she they both are trying to cure the dragon box by adding different things into the bath. My daughter enjoyed the book and we haven't put the book down. There is plenty of pink and glitter on every page that would make may little girl happy. Personally I have seen much better storyline from Julia Donaldson but this book is not for me but my daughter.

Not the strongest in JD's vast collection
Well it's not my favourite Julia Donaldson book by a long stretch. Weird plot, no rhyming. Illustrations are fun though. My kids (3 and 5) seem to enjoy it but it's not one they choose regularly.
